Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
AMONGST THE DECEIT was formed in Salzburg/Austria in 2008. Me and Steve were originated from bands with quite different styles. Shortly after writing some material, Martyn- my Brother- they call us the Hofmann´s from Hallein (Bass) and Thorn (Vocals) joined the band. Soon it was clear that the music had to be a mixture of all kinds of extreme metal played with the utmost care and passion, a combination of sick blast beats and double bass madness, devastating death/THRASH/black riffs, technical abilty and melodic solos. All things seemed to go well except the not yet occupied position behind the drum kit. After a hard and unsuccessful search for a blast machine we decided to write the material first before engaging a pro drummer for the job. As it would later turn out it had been the right decision for us to contact Tom „Sic" Urbanek from Devestating Enemy to take place behind the kit.
How would you describe your style? Which bands influenced your music? Crushing Tech. Brutal Death Metal from Austria, for fans of Gorgasm, Hour Of Penance, Deeds Of Flesh, Human Filleted, Etc.. Influenced by all kind´s of brutal SHIT!!
Why should a metalhead buy your demos/albums?
It´s sick, brutal, with myriads of guitar riff´s packed with awesome solo´s and vocal incantations that makes you suffer!! Go and get the Album or i come home and strangle your mama!!!!!!!!!!!!
What have you released so far and how were your releases received by the public/media?
We´ve just released our furious Debut Album Tribulation´s of man which will come out in dcember this year through Show NO Mercy Records. We also got quite a view good reviews on this Album which you can find on the Internet. I qote a fan on youtube: Like morbid angel on steroids, and with some balls
Do you play live as well? How's your live activity so far?
Yes we do!! We´ve just played two gig´s so far, because we were waiting until our Debut Album is ready. The next year we´re going to conquer this shithole planet, one of our appeareances will be at the Extremefest in Juli. And hopefully we´ll get some other shows as well ! So if your´e a promoter or a booker do´nt hesitate to contact us!!! We´ll blast everything away!!

What plans do you have for the near future as a band?Our Album is going to be released on Show No Mercy Records this december and their will be a bonus with two Videos from our Release Party on the Cd. Next year we will play as much live as it is possible and we´ve already started to write on our next album. So be aware and support BLASTPHEMIC DEATH METAL
