Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
Our history is yet to come since we started this band in 2020. Mr. Robert Falcon Scott, Mr. Шмидт and my humble self used to play in the Pagan Metal band KromleK 2004-2011 and after its dissolution Mr. Scott, Mr. Шмидт and Mr. Игорь Дятлов formed the Melodic Death/Groove Metal combo 7th Abyss which is still active. I myself remained inactive until Mr. Scott presented his new material in late spring 2020. So here we are anew.

How would you describe your style? Which bands influenced your music?
Antrisch is an atmospheric blend of different styles of Black Metal mingled with portions of Doom and Djent-typical ambient-parts. The music itself has a strong narrative character and in combination with the narrative-styled lyrics the listener is drawn into a gloomy soundscape that might appear to him like a Black Metal audiobook.

Why should a metalhead buy your demos/albums?
Well, because he is a metalhead. ;-)

What have you released so far and how were your releases received by the public/media?
We're recently about to release our first EP "EXPEDITION I Dissonanzgrat" digitally on April the 8th on all digital platforms. Those few who were invited to pre-listen gave us quite positive feedback. The reactions on our first audio-clip were pretty much the same. So far it seems the work was worth it.

Do you play live as well? How's your live activity so far?
Not yet - and due to all those postponed concerts I think most of the slots for the next 1,5 years are already booked. Also we don't feel an absolute urge to play live - when time is ripe we'll consider presenting our material on stage.

What should labels/zines/promoters know about your band? Why should they be interested in it?
I think what makes our project extraordinary is our superordinate central theme: historical expeditions to the most extreme (concerning landscape, geography & climate) parts of the world and the impact on the human mind and psyche. Our forthcoming first EP is a mountaineering venture which is strongly inspired by the great stories of the unforgotten pioneers like Mallory, Buhl or even Whymper.

What plans do you have for the near future as a band?
Travelling around the globe so to speak and exploring other extreme regions of this planet and depths of the human mind. We're currently working on the next output that is going to have a more concrete historical frame.

Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?
For now you can check our audio clip for the song "Aufbruchsignale" on our Facebook page or on YouTube and with the digital release on the 8th of April our first EP will be available on every digital music platform.
