Please tell us a few words about the new release, about the music on it as a whole or a few words on each track in part. How are you happy with the final release?
The album revolves around subjects of beliefs. Themes consider religion and problems around them. The album starts with a verse from Book of Lamentations sung in Finnish. Contra tells you a war story, which is justified by peoples trust in their own Truth. Mother of all revolves around Lilith based on Judeo-Christian scriptures. Some apocryphal texts suggest that Lilith was also a wife of Adam, hence the name - Mother of All. I didnt want to make a traditional text about worshipping the demon. I rather wanted to implant the frenzy of a fanatic believer into the text. The title track tells you a story about a man, who really wants to believe but cannot find the Truth, even that he knows what he is supposed to search. Its a tale of growth in a sense, and its the most personal track for me in this album. You can also see this as a story about a man who's faith is fading. The last track, A Theist, sums the album up and its a very essential part of the album lyric-wise. The album wasnt written to be a concept album, but there is a clear common thread through the whole album. All and all, I couldnt be more pleased with the outcome. I wouldnt change any part of the album.

How would you describe/label the music on it? Does it sounds like anything we might have heard before?
We make fast-paced Blackened Death Metal. It would be stupid to suggest that anyone could create something totally new in this flood of information that we live next to. We are not trying to imitate any acts around, but of course people have their influences. Those can be subconscious or conscious, but considering us, its totally subconscious. We are not trying to invent anything new by force, and you can hear if someone is trying to be something that they are clearly not. We are trying to make our music alive by putting as much of ourselves as we can into it. If it breaths, then we have matched our goal.
Some people have told that my vocal style reminds Nergal from Behemoth. He is a good singer, but not one of my paragons, if you wish. If I would have to name one main influence to my vocal style, I would name Hellwind Inferion (Desolate Shrine, Lord of Pagathorn, The Crescent). There is a true passion in his voice and I cant recommend his works enough, check him out!

Where was it recorded and how much time did it take you to record it? Any interesting stories from the recording/producing the material?
Aberration of Mind was recorded & mixed at Watercastle Studio, with the mastering duties performed by the legendary Dan Swanö (Bloodbath, Edge Of Sanity, Witherscape). The recording and mixing took 9 days. We were very pleased with the co-operation with both parties. Everything went as it was supposed to.

What can you tell us about the cover artwork? Is there a link between the artwork and the lyrics? What are the topics of your lyrics?
I already covered the lyrical side of the album. The rest is for the listener to figure out. Costin Chioreanu made the cover-art based on our illustration and we are very pleased with the outcome.

What do you expect to gain through this release? What are the band's aims at the moment?
Our main goal is to get the peoples attention. A record deal would be a nice benefit, if the terms would be good. There are too many bullshit-deals around nowadays, since there is a clear oversupply of metal bands. It attracts leeches, who are only interested in making profit out of your asses. So a record deal is not an intrinsic value for us. We are writing our upcoming full-length at the moment, and we will inform you more when we have some facts to give.

Is there a special format the material is released in? Or is it released in multiple formats? How many copies were pressed?
We pressed 200 copies of the album in CD-format and its been sold out for a while. We found some left over EP's which we didn't know about and those have been sold as well. You can still get the album in digital format in our Bandcamp. Its there with our demo Ravens, which hangs more on the pure Death Metal side. You can name the price and get it with good quality, lyrics and artwork.

Where and how will you promote this new release?
We have made some interviews and toured here in Finland. We opened the saturday of the sold-out Steelfest Open Air 2014 and that was a big thing for us. Its a extreme metal festival with both out and inside stages. There was over 1000 people there on both days. There were some pretty big acts including INQUISITION (USA), DESTRÖYER 666 (NED), NIFELHEIM (SWE), MAVETH (FIN), PRIMORDIAL (IRL), VADER (POL) etc. We got to play there by winning their Demoni-contest which was hold. There was over 60 bands listed and we won it easily, as the organizer expressed it.

Where can we order it from?
As said above, the album is currently sold out, but it can be pre-ordered by contacting us. You can get it in digital form from our Bandcamp.
