Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.Avgrunn is a band from Barcelona that was formed in 2010 after the dissolution of the band Caos Encadenado. The members of that band … the singer and the two guitar players got together to form Avgrunn. Currently the only original member left is Xemi (guitar player and compositor). In the band has passed many musicians. The current Avgrunn line-up is:

Xemi: Guitar
Markos Prada: Bass
Leo Faber: Drums
How would you describe your style? Which bands influenced your music?
Avgrunn practices blasting brutal death metal … and talks about genetic and scientific experimentation. The influences that Avgrunn has are Disgorge (USA), Putridity, Putrid Pile, Deeds of Flesh, Devourment, etc.
Why should a metalhead buy your demos/albums?
The discography of Avgrunn is composed by two demos, one EP, one promo and one LP. The LP was edited by Nice to Eat You Records … If you like brutal death metal … that is a good album to enjoy.
What have you released so far and how were your releases received by the public/media?
We are having good reviews … of the album … and also of the shows … people enjoy our music and we also enjoy playing it … so everything is perfect.
Do you play live as well? How's your live activity so far?
If you want I can summarize in one word our shows … the word is … brutality. People who like that will enjoy our shows.
We will have a mini tour in France this coming November. The 1st, 2nd and 3rd with the French band of brutal death Savage Annihilation.

What plans do you have for the near future as a band?
Our future plans are play shows … as much as we can, show our music live and edit the new album for 2013 titled "Sync Protocols Forming Inhuman Results”
