Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
About 8 years ago back in 2003 Andreas (guitar) hade a side project called "Operation SidEffect”, change the name in 2004 to "Delicious Deformed”, did some gigs and then it was put on ice. Then in 2007 when Andreas strated to play bass with thrash mob "Astral carneval” he and the Drummer of AC shared the same passion for melodic thrash/death and brutal death metal, so when AC was put to sleep in the fall of 2009 Andreas And Lawrence (drums) took some of the old songs Andreas did back in 2003-2004 and spiced them up a bit. Then they asked Andreas old friends David (bass) and Henrik (Vocals) if they was interessted to play some metal again. They bouth comes from several years in the metal scene, they had played in bands like Vicious, Skyfire, Platina, The Enthralled, Mornaland and Favilla. Andreas allredy had about 10 songs ready so they started to learn the songs and when a young man by the name of Joakim entered the rehearsal room in April 2010 and jammed with the band a bit they told him that if he wanted to join the band he was in...and he didnt hesitate and said "yeah...of course”. So Bleeding Utopia Was born.

How would you describe your style? Which bands influenced your music?
I would describe it as Death Metal with a loot of Thrash/Black/Heavy metal and rock n roll influences. In our youth we listened to everything from rock n Roll to Black metal. A lot of Guns n roses, Metallica, Megadeth, D:A:D, Dark Funeral, Naglfar, At the Gates, Dismember,Dissection, Without grief, Entombed, Anthrax, Testament etc etc, and through out the years bands have come and bands have gone.
We can listen to  classical music like chopin or sing and songwriters or evil black metal, if our armhair stands streight up its an inflence. We try to take all our influences and make something of our own. Trying to make the best melodic death metal we can. Trying to  make aggresive metal with a lot of feeling, melodies and rage. Bands that hace influences me (Andreas-Guitar) the most in that aspect are Dissection, Amon Amarth, Without Grief and Dismember. They proved that death metal can be beautiful but still aggressive and dark.

Why should a metalhead buy your demos/albums?
Because we rock. If you want a good mix of heavyness, speed, melodies, hate, rage and feeling you should listen to BLEEDING UTOPIA. A good mixture of Swedish melodic death metal and american metal.

What have you released so far and how were your releases received by the public/media?
We have released a promo in june 2010 called "Promo 2010”, and we have songs on 2 compilation CDs. "Kill City Vol 27” released in October 2010 by American label 272 records in Hollywood. "Fear Candy " released in May 2011 by the magazine Terrorizer Magazine (dark Art ltd) in the U.K.
We are now recording our debut album and hopefully a good label will release it in early 2012. So far we only have good reviews...and thats good.

Do you play live as well? How's your live activity so far?
Yes. we try to play as many gigs we can. Our live activity so far are ok about 9 gig since June 2010. Right now we focus most of our energy to get our album done, then we will hit the roads again.

What sould labels/zines/promoters know about your band? Why should they be interested in it?
That we know what we are doing, we are 5 good musicians and very forward in what we want. We live for playing live and we ALWAYS give the audience a good show it doesnt matter if there is 1 person or 1000 in the audience we always give 110%. They should be interested in us because we are willing to work very hard to get where we want, we love our fans and to play music. We will not stop until the hole world screams BLEEDING UTOPIA.

What plans do you have for the near future as a band?
First we have to finish recording and mix/master our album. The mix and master will be done by Jocke Skog (FAL Studios , Clawfinger,Scarpoint, Meshuggah etc etc.) Then we are hitting the road as hard as we can and search for a label to release our album. The plan is within a coulple of years to have 80-150 gigs a year....we wish and to release more albums world wide.

Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?
You can listen to it on Spotify, Myspace and buy it on iTunes. More info about us and our music and where to see us live or buy T-Shirts and so on visit:
