Collapse project with this monicker went out about in 2006-2007 but only in 2009 we set the definitive line-up. We come from various music background, by the way related to metal and extreme music in general. At the very beginning we started to play "just for fun" but going on we realized that the project could have some possibilities, so here we are!

When we started songwriting we definitely wanted to make a classic speed/thrash record, but then during the songwrting especially reharsing we started introducing hardcore elements especially in the lyrics and later on, in the riffs. Our first demo is a good mix of boths sounds but is definitely  more influenced by thrash metal; our new songs instead  are most affected by hardcore influences. I think right, with the new stuff, we are reaching a good original sound so we would like to carry on with a good mix of both.

That's a good question, i think metalheads should buy our demo because it's not something challenging, "A Mano Armata" is a speed and entertaining demo without pretensions but it is made with passion and i think that's the point. 

In 2011 we've released our first EP/demo, totally autoproducted, called "A Mano Armata". Many webzines reviewed it very well and we're very proud of that, we hope to do a better work in our future full lenght. If you type in a web search " collapse a mano armata" you'll find many reviews (by the way they are written in italian). 

After we released our first demo we had a really good live activity, we played in a lot of gigs especially in Tuscany but also in other regions of Italy. We had the opportunity to play with really good italian thrash metal bands like "National Suicide" or "Violentor" but we also play in the hardcore scene, it is good to have a mixed sound because you can reach more people and be appreciated also in other musical scenes.

We had a proposal by EBM records some months ago, they were really interested but the asked us not to speak in Italian in our future songs and that is  something we cant accept. Right now in fact we decided to songwrite only in italian because when you sing and when you write in your own language you transmit what you are talking about in a more effective way with definitaly more feeling. So...we lost a very good opportunity because EBM Records works very well and with passion, but right now we prefere to make everything on our own with no restrictions. By the way if someone is interested in working with us, we are here!

At the moment we're working on the full lenght and we hope to release it at the end of 2012. We like very much our new songs and we hope that the people will like them too; the complessive sound of the full lenght will be more uniformed instead of the demo, opting for a thrash/hardcore sound and italian written lyrics.
