Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
Anno 2008 Lord Khaos and Daemonicreator formed the core of what is now called CORPUS DIAVOLIS! The aim is to satisfy our and your hunger for perverse, occult and orgiastic distortion of time and space through cold extreme metal. To attain those vibrations of the soul that make us experience a higher state of existence! To give and receive pleasure! To be one with the great flesh!
How would you describe your style? Which bands influenced your music?
Black Fucking Metal! Blasting satanic black metal with some death metal and experimental touches. Definitely not the lo-fi garage suicidal side of the genre! It's got to be dirty but not weak! When we started the band we were inspired by the great Norwegian and Swedish scene: Marduk, Dark Funeral, Dissection, 1349, Emperor, Old Man’s Child, Immortal… Since then we have forged our own Corpus Diavolis style!
Why should a metalhead buy your demos/albums?
We need money for drugs and whores!
What have you released so far and how were your releases received by the public/media?Our first release was the "Nightsky Orgia” EP, limited to 100 hand numbered cds. Followed by 1st album "Revolucia” and a video for "Anteros Antigod”. A split with occult underground French black metal band Total Satan "Corpus Diavolis / Total Satan” Digipack CD and a 2nd album "Entheogenesis”! Along with a video for the "Primordial Chaos Reinvoked” track!
If you search the internet you will find mostly postitive reviews for those releases.
Do you play live as well? How's your live activity so far?
Live rituals are very important for Corpus Diavolis! We have played recently as support band for trash/death legends LOUDBLAST and black metal masters INQUISITION in Marseille, France.
