Wow, I didn't know the band before getting this new album of theirs, their second to date, but hell I'm impressed by Demonhead, their music is so aggressive and accessible at the same time it reminds me of Metallica, not in style but in the force of impact it is capable of creating on both newcomers and old-timers in Metal. Style-wise Demonhead a successfully mixing Heavy Metal, Groove Metal, Modern Metal Thrash Metal and even a hint of Punk and Hardcore but just to spice things up not to divert the trajectory, so one could easily call their music Traditional Metal, I'd see that better fitting a label for it. 10 tracks in 40 minutes of playing time, plenty of hooks to keep you glued from start to finish, a good balance between melody and aggression, a crystal clear production and what such bands need the most (in my opinion): catchy choruses and killer guitar leads / solos. At least in my books Demonhead have produced a glorious album here, one that might stand the test of time.
