Please tell us a few words about the new release, about the music on it as a whole or a few words on each track in part. How are you happy with the final release?
We are very happy with the album, cause it's really the best recording we've done so far. Everything is the way it should be soundwise, much due to the skills of producer/engineer Endre Kirkesola. The songs are different in style, but still the same straightforward groove and heavyness. We tried to make it a blend of different genres (as we always do), and still leave no doubt that it is Dimenzion:Psychosphere. And i believe we succeeded with that

How would you describe/label the music on it? Does it sounds like anything we might have heard before?
It's heavy, dark and melodic. Very recognisable, but not really comparable with any special band I can think of. We get our inspiration from several genres and styles. Maybe a kind of mix between Meshuggah, AC/DC and old Voivod perhaps. With an industrial touch.

Where was it recorded and how much time did it take you to record it? Any interesting stories from the recording/producing the material?
It was recorded in dub studio in Oslo. The recording itself took a couple of weeks, and mixing ditto, but it was all done over a period of probably four or five months. We like to let the music sink in, before we do changes to it.

What can you tell us about the cover artwork? Is there a link between the artwork and the lyrics? What are the topics of your lyrics?
The artwork is not made with the topics of the album in mind, but more a depiction of the Dimenzion:Psychosphere name. A stream of thoughts connected to everything, going in and out of your head. Not visible with the naked eye, but through a kind of sixth sense. The lyrics are pretty much about mankind's greed and selfishness, which ends in the collapse of everything. It's about freedom, in the sense that there is less and less of it. Everything is designed for us to support someone who wants us to consume something, or just make them richer by letting them exploit nature on every exploitable level, leaving poor people to fight wars about resources. So not very optimistic, but very real I believe

What do you expect to gain through this release? What are the band's aims at the moment?
We hope there will be enough people who like the album for us to travel around and play, to as many as possible. And then record a new album and keep on doing so...

Is there a special format the material is released in? Or is it released in multiple formats? How many copies were pressed?
No, there is no special format yet. We hope to print some LP's, but we'll have to see if the interest is there. So it's 500 CD's and downloading for now.

Where and how will you promote this new release?
We have an american promotor who basically gets us reviews and interviews in netbased zines all over america and europe. Apart from that, there will be ads, interviews and reviews in scandinavian paper magazines, and we will of course play gigs, starting in Norway and just spread out from there, to wherever we are welcome.
