Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
It is easy to find on Wikipedia all the history information about INFESTUM. If to say shortly, our band was formed in 2000 a.b.  Since that year we released two full length albums and a couple of EP. And now INFESTUM works on a new CD.
Current lineup is:
Ion The Saint (vocals)
Wrathtodd (guitars, synth)
Werwolfe (bass)
Country: Belarus.

How would you describe your style? Which bands influenced your music?
We call our style Elitist Black Metal. It is not about luxury cars and celebrity stories. Our ideal is the New Elite of Mankind entering New Era. It is about philosophy, science, religion and culture. We hate democracy and all the fairy tales about equality of men. We hate modern level of morals and culture made for plebeian's joy. We Hail the New Man with all his Pride and Glory.
If to speak about music influences I can mention Dodheimsgard, Mayhem, Aborym, Darkspace, Nile and many other ...
But I can't say our music is completely from this area.

Why should a metalhead buy your demos/albums?
It's up to someone to decide whether to pay for something or not, whether to like something or not. We don't force anyone to do that. And I see no need to speak all that flashy bullshit about how cool or fashionable we are and why do someone needs us. Everything that  we would like to say and stand for is represented in our music. People can buy any it if they'd like to. Or they may find another way to listen to our music. We do not see a big problem in sharing mp3 for free. But for us much more important if people will get and share our ideas. With our music or without it.

What have you released so far and how were your releases received by the public/media?
Our current discography:
"Infestum" [MC] demo (limited 100 copies) 2001
"Infestum" [MCD] Battle Hymn Recs. (USA) 2002
"Last Day..." [CD] More Hate Prod. (RUS) 2003
"Ta Natas" [CD] Blood Fire Death Prod. (GER) 2007
"Void of Nebulae" [single] 2010
"Renaissance" [EP] 2010
Over the years we have got a lot of good reviews from different zines. You can find some of these reviews in web.

Do you play live as well? How's your live activity so far?
We took part if some live shows. But last one was in 2008 a.b. You can find some recordings from this show on YouTube. In 2013 we plan to restore our live activity. With completely new songs and new line-up.

What should labels/zines/promoters know about your band? Why should they be interested in it?
The main thing these people should know is that we are not of the sissy/fashionable kind of bands which filled the media with lots of  their crappy stuff they call 'music'. And we don't care about tons of 'likes' necessary to gain someone's appreciation and ability to lick someone's business ass. What we do is representing our thoughts and energy through our music and lyrics. We are addicted to make a piece of art. And it's up to other people whether they like it or not. Our music speaks for itself.

What plans do you have for the near future as a band?
First of all we will finish and publish new EP and new video. And after this we will finish our new full length album.

Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?
People can easily find our previous albums in internet. It is selling there by dozens of metal music distros and webstores. And much more places to find some mp3 to listen to and download. Our last (and for me the best and more actual one concerning the current band's course) EP you can download directly from our website: http://infestum.com
