Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
Ishtar Gate was founded in 2010 at the initiative of Dominik Brodnicki and Artur Moskała, and since then had clear goals: to compose the material, and record it, and the completion of the composition for the gigs. Despite all the difficulties Ishtar Gate has achieved these two goals by the end of 2011. The first demo recently seen the light of day (which is entirely available for listening on the profile of FB). At the beginning of 2012 a second guitarist - Artur Kwapisz joins the band . In the absence of hope of finding anyone, responsible and committed to staffing the vocalist and bass player band decides to limit the composition of the team to three people. Artur Moskała resigns as guitarist, and "transferring" into the bassist/vocalist. Today we focus on ripping the material in the new composition. The next step will be to present the demo material, and another already established tracks, live.

How would you describe your style? Which bands influenced your music?
Sounds like: Morbid Angel, Vader. Our music can be described as mix of death metal, thrash metal, with small amounts of doom, and black metal.

Why should a metalhead buy your demos/albums?
Because we play music that comes out straight from our hearts!

What have you released so far and how were your releases received by the public/media?
We released four track demo so far. Reception is quiet good, mainly via internet. Recently we've got so many views, and likes. That's very nice :)

Do you play live as well? How's your live activity so far?
We have three-piece lineup, ale we're looking for some local gigs. We had played our debut gig recently, which was quiet important, and went very well despite some technical problems.

What sould labels/zines/promoters know about your band? Why should they be interested in it?
We're young and devoted to extreme metal music, we have our dreams, to play gigs, all around the world. On the other hand we know, that it's very difficult, time-absorbing, and expensive (without sponsor, label etc.). Our music is non-ideological.

What plans do you have for the near future as a band?
We want to play as much gigs and possible, and record second demo. We already have eight ready tracks (about 30 minutes set), and keep working on new stuff.

Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?
You can check our band at Facebook:
We do not sell our music, and any other stuff related to our band yet.
