Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
Krigere Wolf was born in 2009 and come from Catania (Sicily). My intents were to play an evil and obscure Scandivian Black Metal with putrid, bastards and
blasphemer themes. I joined immediately my friend and guitarist Joe Cantagallo and dealed with him on the project in early 2010. Initially Krigere Wolf was only a studio project. In summer of 2010 was proposed me to play a live with local bands and Frozen joined the band as session member on drums. After few months Erik Cataudella completed the line-up entering in the band as second guitar, and so began live performances. This lineup continued until the recording of "The Ancient Culture To Kill" album (end of 2011). The current line-up is: me (bass/vocals), Erik Cataudella (guitars) F.Bauso (guitars), S.M.Testa (drums).

How would you describe your style? Which bands influenced your music?
When I start to compose the first songs, I noticed that the played riffs were completely different of what I tried to do, were not in Norwegian Black Metal style, but the sound was epic, similar at ‘80 Heavy and Thrash Metal. However, the riff seemed to be sharp as the Norwegian Black Metal and dark and cold as ’90 Swedish Death. Depending on the type of riffing that were came out I decided that the lyrics, would has been to Norse mythology with dark and malignant themes. Surely if there is some band from which I take mainly "spiritual” inspiration, those are Bathory, Death, Unleashed and Bolt Thrower.

Why should a metalhead buy your demos/albums?
Well, our genre basically encompasses all the kinds of Heavy Metal waves that can satisfy any listener of metal music, from the classic Heavy Metal, full of riding riffs and epic solos to thrash assaults shaped into a violent vortex of old school Black Death Metal. We do not have musical boundaries, we dislike to play just one style. My goal is to enjoy what we play to anyone who listen to it. Surely there will be also a part of people who dislike what we play and will not buy our releases. Well, they can go to fuck off and die in hell. hahaha

What have you released so far and how were your releases received by the public/media?
Our first official debut on studio is our full lenght "THE ANCIENT CULTURE TO KILL", released in January 2012, produced by Fabrizio Malaponte (vocals in
Deathwork-Thrash/Death Metal from Italy) owner of Armed God Records. The album is a concept inspired by the cold northern lands and bloody battles, 36 minutes of pure attack of Black/Thrash-Death Metal. The release is available on CD through Armed God Records. The full lenght was released by few days but the first responses are simply amazing!!!

Do you play live as well? How's your live activity so far?
During these years we played with some underground local band, always in the Sicilian territory with an excellent crowd’s feedback. We will play the 6th of April in our city with Valnorth (Ita-Black Metal), and May 26th opener for the historical Italian Thrash Metal band "Bulldozer”. In June of this year we'll do a mini tour in the south of Italy;

What should labels/zines/promoters know about your band? Why should they be interested in it?
After the release of "THE ANCIENT CULTURE TO KILL", we did and we are continuing to do a great work of sponsorship to many webzines, fanzines, and labels all over the world. Many of them wants a promo cd for reviews. We hope in time to keep our place in the battlefield of underground metal scene. The objective is to never stop and go on with the utmost humility, seriousness and the passion for true metal that so far has made us play as well as hell.

What plans do you have for the near future as a band?
We will do the best and we will be increasingly bastards! We are already working to new aggressive tracks with the new line-up on what will be the next release of Krigere Wolf... stay with us on the battlefield, soon killing news...
