Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
All has started eight and a half years ago in the Autumn of 2010 in Sofia, Bulgaria when I decided to form a symphonic metal band. It was very difficult in the beginning to find the appropriate musicians for this genre of music. Over the last eight years some of the former members of the band have taken their own way and we had to look for new members but I think that the band now is completed. Current members of the band are:
Stela Atanasova - Operatic Vocals, Electric Viola, Keyboards
Grigor Kostadinov - Guitars
Krastyo Jordanov - Guitars, Irish Flute
Milen Mavrov - Bass, Backing Vocals
Angel Kitanov - Keyboards
Nikola "Blackie" Ivanov - Drums

How would you describe your style? Which bands influenced your music?
Our style is considered as symphonic metal with female operatic vocals. We are all fans of certain symphonic/power/gothic metal bands.

Why should a metalhead buy your demos/albums?
The nice thing in our style of music we do is that it likes a lot to different people who do not necessarily have to be fans of metal music. They may even be fans of classical music. We would like anyone who orders our album to do it because he has heard something different and interesting. Because we grabbed it with our personal handwriting and a sense of music. Each band has its own message and we would be glad to have every one of our fans or future fans want to have our albums because we touched it in some way and the music makes them feel better.

What have you released so far and how were your releases received by the public/media?
So far, we have released an EP “Fallen Angel in the Hell” and a studio album “For All Beyond”. With both products, I think we have achieved great success for an independent band. We received a wide response in many media as well as dozens of positive reviews.

Do you play live as well? How's your live activity so far?
Yes, of course, we play live. After recording albums, this is our second priority. We have just finished touring several cities in Western and Eastern Europe along with the Imperial Age. The audience everywhere is very positive about us and we are back loaded with very good energy and an incentive to work on the upcoming album.

What should labels/zines/promoters know about your band? Why should they be interested in it?
We have never known exactly how this business works and why it is interested in specific bands, while others are not interested. At this stage, we have not been willing to negotiate with a label, and we think it's better for us. At least until the next album is released. We are giving 100 percent of ourselves in every undertaking. We are dedicated to music and we are ready to sacrifice many things to give our band a chance. We do not fight for glory and rapid popularity, using industry resources. We fight alone and that brings us a great deal of satisfaction. When you do it yourself well, no one can stand in your way except your own fears and hesitation. We struggle to reach more people to win their hearts.

What plans do you have for the near future as a band?
Let's record our next album, make one or two official videos, play as many places in and out of Bulgaria as possible, preserve and keep the fire in our hearts.

Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?
You can hear us on our YouTube channel - Metalwings Official, as well as on all the most popular digital distribution platforms. You can also buy our music through every platform like BandCamp, iTunes, Amazon, Google Play and so on.
