Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
The band was formed in 2008 in the UK. The line-up changed a few times being Den (g/v) the only original member – also the writer of all songs.

How would you describe your style? Which bands influenced your music?
The Misconducters are hard to pigeonhole because all elements of metal are there, as well as punk. The band is influenced by all that rocks, from Chuck Berry to Napalm Death.

Why should a metalhead buy your demos/albums?
Let’s just say people who appreciate well-made honest music will feel naturally inclined to acquire our releases. Plus, we’re not in it for the money.

What have you released so far and how were your releases received by the public/media?
We released 4 EPs and 1 album so far – and also were part of a Scottish label’s compilation, featuring M Inc’s (Rick Rozz, ex-Death/Massacre) first ever song released. Most people seeme to really dig our stuff, whilst some blatantly despise it.

Do you play live as well? How's your live activity so far?
At the moment the band is focused on the recording of our 2nd album, so there are no gigs planned for (probably) the rest of the year. But the Misconducters played tons of gigs so far and Discharge, English Dogs, Disorder and Broken Bones are just a few bands we shared the stage with.

What should labels/zines/promoters know about your band? Why should they be interested in it?
I’m not sure they should, because we’re not very commercial. That said, it’s always cool to have some extra help from independent zines, distributors etc to promote our music.

What plans do you have for the near future as a band?
As mentioned before the main focus at the moment is the new album, which will have more solos, the best production yet and a few surprises.

Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?
We still don’t have an official website, but anyone interested in hearing more Misconducters may check this: www.myspace.com/misconducters . To get in touch with the band, this is the best way: denfire@hotmail.co.uk . Cheers.
