Please present your label, when and where was it started, who is involved in its activities and what genres are promoted by it.
Hails! Firstly, thanks for your interest and your time by promoting us!
We are Mortis Humanae Productions, a french underground black metal label, from Marseille (in the south of the France). We are currently 2 members, 2 old friends before being 2 colleagues.
We began our activity in june 2011 but we've had this project for a long time. We are involved in local Black metal scene since 1992-1993. We decide to make our own label to promote bands we like and give them a chance to spread their hate all around the world.
By the way, we will only promote Black metal bands and support all kinds of Black Metal : no censorship with us!!

Tell us a few words on each or the most important releases of your label, and which of them are still available for purchase.
At the moment we have eight releases available.
To begin our activity we have decided to provide : tapes, cd-r vinyl and cd-r pro.
We've decided to make cd-r vinyl because some bands were interested in this format and it can be a good alternative for guys who doesn't have (unfortunately) cassette desk.
For us, all our releases are important! But if by "important", you mean the releases which  we will make more money; we just want to say that we don't care about money, we haven't created this label to earn some. We try to offer exactly the same service to all the bands we sign. In a perfect world, we would like to offer to every bands a cd-pro but, of course, we know it's not possible... so we always try to find a good compromise between money and quality and then offer to the bands the release they deserve.
In tape we have Wolfsherz that plays a pagan Black metal without any compromise, Neptrecus a very good french black metal band and Uhriristi a finnish band that have trusted us to re issued they first demo and plays pure fucking black metal!!
In cd-r vinyl we have Uluun from France that plays a black metal inspired by Peste Noire, Neptrecus again, Aegeon from Finland that plays a brutal and old school Black Metal and a split between 2 bands from Argentina that play a cold black metal.
And finally, in cd-r pro we have Loup Noir from France that plays a raw and agressive Black metal and Bereft from UK that plays a dark, slow and cold Black Metal!!
All our release are pro, not homemade!
We just want to take this issue to thank all the bands they have trusted us when we've decided to begin.

What are the most important features you look for in a band that is or has the chance to be signed on your label?
As we said in the first question, the most important for us it's that the band plays Black metal and that we like what we heard!!
We don't always have the same opinion and it's a permanent fight to find the bands that we will like both. On the other hand, we won't sign a band that hasn't the same ideas than us, the same conception of the black metal or that is too greedy.
We receive a lot of messages from bands that, because they have done a first good demo, want a cd-pro and directly talk about money they will have... that's funny... We don't want those kinds of band.
So yeah, mentality is very important for us. It's not because we are a little label that we don't care about everything : we think it's very important to be serious.
If some bands have the same opinion about Black Metal : don't hesitate to contact us. Every messages will have our consideration!

How can a band get in touch with you? What should bands know before submitting their promos for your consideration?
They can contact us by email or on our myspace.
The only things they have to know are :
- We only sign Black Metal bands
- Don't be greedy and trendy

What's the most important thing in the relationship between you and your bands? What is your label offering to its bands?
The most important thing between us and our bands is the trust. For each release we invest time and energy so we ask to the bands to respect delay and be quite serious.
We offer to our bands : first of all a physical release, whatever the support. Then we make the promotion of the release in fanzines, webzines, forum and social networks. We offer at least one electronic flyer (and depending of the release : one paper flyer). We provide artwork too if the band needs one. And of course, the distribution of the release...
In the future (and we already have a project with a band) we will help with the website creation (and for all the management of the website project too)
Concerning the remuneration of the bands : it's a classic mode... the bands can choose between a percentage on the production or a percentage on the sales.

Is there anything you planned with your label and has not yet been completed?
Well, that is a good question...
The main project we haven't finished yet is our website. We are working on it but with our jobs and the management of the bands we don't find time to finish it!

How does the future looks for your label? Any major projects you would like to share with us?
The future looks good for us : we like what we do and we will continue to spread our materials everywhere!!
We have a lot of projects and improvements for the future.
The first one is to make some vinyls. We really like that material but at the moment we don't have enough money...
Then, in the 2nd question we have talked about the support chosen : tape, cd-r pro and cd-r vinyl. We have decided for the future that we will stop cd-r pro and cd-r vinyl to only do pro-tape and cd-pro!!!!!
In march our first cd-pro will be released through a split, totally french, between Suicidal Madness and Sombre Croisade. Then in april, another split will come from Colombia between Luciferian and Storm Of Darkness.
We have another projects of album that we will announce in the future...

How can anyone get in touch with you? Please list your website, webstore and/or social media links.
Thanks to have read us!
You can follow us on myspace : http://www.myspace.com/mortishumanae
