The Nagaarum as a band is the successor of the Pigballoon formed in 2008. That project was started for an idea "fill-a-hiatus" in the Hungarian musical scene. There was no bands which compose songs in the old school analogue sounding mixed with the metal or ambient. I am the only member of the project and this will not change in the future. For the handling of female vocals in one track I asked Varga Betty because I can't present female voices. 

I compose in absolutely mixed style. I have (doom) metal albums (Oort, Oort II.), ambient releases (Lombotomia, Belaja Tajga 1-2.), but I had composed in experimental electronic for example Nanoverzum. I do not have clear stylized work. All of them are mixed. I use to use the "eclectic dark music" mark when I have to stylize myself. 

My main influences are from the 70's. My biggest heros are the members of the Pink Floyd. I love the analogue effects, oscillators and the raw rough sounding. I don't believe that the good music is only the flawless-structured compositions when the musicians don't make mistakes. So I like the early black metal hordes for instance Burzum, Bathory, Darkthrone, Mayhem and the contemporary ones 1349, Craft, Necrophobic. Anyvay I listen black and funeral doom music not for a long time. Maybe I don't know the ambient and dark ambient genre like other styles. But I think it is not a problem, because I can compose free and without any influences. From the less hard music I like such as Porcupine Tree, Tiamat (old and new), Depeche Mode, Tears For Fears, Police, Cream, and the classical music. 

No need to buy as they can download all of my musics from my official page free :-). But I will be very grateful if somebody buy some of my work in the Bandcamp, or order some CD from my releases. I working on burned discs, but the tracks are burned in the very expensive Kodak Gold Preservation discs for the long life. 

I have nine releases. Two of these was released as a split album, but these splits were longest than the regular splits. So I take them full-length albums too.   

My first and second albums are maybe my studies but I don't think that these albums have lesser worth than other ones. Oort and Oort II. are the two experimental doom releases. The theme comes from the space. This albums tell a tale about the Oort cloud which is embaces the Solar system. After the Oort I-II. we worked together with Illés András who is the only member of Dreams After Death. He is a very talented funeral doom composer (the only funeral doom composer in Hungary), and one of my friends. So we released a split called Kuiper. We would had made an album about the Kuiper belt. This area in the Solar system contains the trans neptunian objects (dwarf planets, some of the comets, asteroids). The making process was very exciting and we were very glad in the finish. 

Lombotomia was made the winter of 2012. I think that the technology revolution and the telecommunication war will kill our spirit and we continuously poisoning our living space. I studied science in the university and before I graduated I felt the big answers for the questions of the Universe would have been elsewhere... I try to express this intuition in my works. 

Releasing is running continuously in my official page. I had no publisher for the time being (now I am signing with a russian label, but this story will run to the finish later), so if I want to publish some of my albums physically I burn Kodak CD-s and make cover by manufacturing. 

No. There is no live shows. The atmosphere and spirituality of this music would be broken in a stage, and I would have a lot of problems to realize the special effects. So I am not interested in gigs. This project is a nameless concept without face. Nagaarum's main aim is for the music to be the absolute focus, the music should be in the limelight. Everything else is irrelevant.

Because I feel that I make something unique. Maybe it seems an overacted self-confidence, but I think it is necessary for a music composer. Without the self-confidence it isn't worth to do this.  

I would like to find a label / publisher to release Oort and Oort II. These albums my main works in my metal side I think. Kuiper will release in a Russian label, as I mentioned. I would like to make more much albums, because I have a lot of musical idea which didn't born yet..
