Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
Pest Wolf was formed in July 2009 and is a Black Metal Solo Project. The Only Member is Isegrimh. The Lyrics refer on Germanism, antichristian and the beauty of nature. The name of the project consists of two elements. The "Pest" which I see as a revenge of the nature on the humanity for the bad treatment and the "Wolf" which lives in harmony with the nature, a strong and prideful resident of the wood.
How would you describe your style? Which bands influenced your music?
There are two different sites of Pest Wolf. On one hand there are the more atmospheric songs like "...of Wolves and the shining Moon (narration II)" and on the other there are the brutal tracks like "Territory of the Wolf". How a song sounds is depending on the message that I want to transport with it. My music is more or less influenced by Satanic Warmaster, Nargaroth and maybe Burzum.
Why should a metalhead buy your demos/albums?
He should buy it when he wants variety when he listens to an album. If he likes atmospheric Black Metal but wants to hear some devastation on the same disc he should check out Pest Wolf.
What have you released so far and how were your releases received by the public/media?
Until now I just gave my Demo CD "...of Wolves and the shining Moon" in a special edition to some friends of mine, where I know that it is in good hands. It was self released.
Do you play live as well? How's your live activity so far?
No I haven't played live for now, but I will create a live line-up and maybe give some concerts in the future. But nothing is planned so far.
What should labels/zines/promoters know about your band? Why should they be interested in it?
They should know that Pest Wolf don't wants to copy other bands, I have my own style. They should be interested in my project, because I compose authentic music with real emotions in it.
What plans do you have for the near future as a band?
There are four Split-Albums outstanding and I am planing to release a Full-Lenght Album in the next year. The informations will follow on my Myspace site.
