Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
In 2010 Thomas Greulich and Thomas Pettrich were two lonely left overs of a hard rock band and wanted to start with a heavy metal band. We won´t list all musicians that have been in the band as these were quiet a few. What counts is that now 5 musicians have found together and have really great times. Whether during the rehearsals while creating new songs, or on stage or in the recording studio, it just fits. You can find our full bio on our homepage www.premortalbreath.com

How would you describe your style? Which bands influenced your music?
No style is our style we guess. It´s hard to determine our style by ourselves and even by some reviewers as well. So Heavy Metal would fit best we would say. Some songs are more hard rock, some more like modern metal and some just old school. Just listen to our tracks and tell us your opinion. In general we create songs out of ideas that we all like and not if they would fit into any specific genre.
We have several bands that surely influenced our music like Metallica, Disturbed, Trivium, In Flames and many more.

Why should a metalhead buy your demos/albums?
Maybe because we are different and not targeted to one single genre. Every song on our album is stylistically differing from the other. And if you decide to purchase the digital version on our homepage you support a good cause as with every sold song we support Oxfam.

What have you released so far and how were your releases received by the public/media?
We recorded a demo 2010 with 2 songs but the results were not really what we expected. So we took our time to create enough songs to record a whole album and choose a really great recording studio. So currently we just released our debut album called “THEY” containing 8 songs. Our fans really like it much. The songs, the production quality the images, the booklet. But our fans already knew our songs and our style. The media…..well…..that differs. Some love it and some hate it. There´s nearly nothing in between. And so do the listeners. We receive feedback from “really great, hell yeah” and “no…no not at all”. We concentrate to the people who likes us and our music. We don´t care about the haters. So finally we won´t change ourselves or the music we play.

Do you play live as well? How's your live activity so far?
Yeah for sure. We nearly take every gig we can somehow get. We played on several gigs in local clubs as well as we had the chance to enter the stage on smaller festivals. In March 2015 we will open the Ground Force One Festival 2015. Hopefully we can enter someday the stages out of Germany as well.

What should labels/zines/promoters know about your band? Why should they be interested in it?
I think the answer is similar to that in question 3. We´re not like all the new shit. We´re completely different and as really no one who reviewed our music could determine our genre exactly the zines, labels and promoters should give it a try.

What plans do you have for the near future as a band?
To rule the world !!! And of course to spread our music worldwide, play as much gigs as somehow possible and hopefully to record another album within the next 1-2 years.
