Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
We’ve started the band  as a kids in high school in Gdansk, Poland, circa 2010, to play as our idols – Slayer, Motorhead or Venom. It was an idea of the band’s bassist and vocalist – Filip, also known as Strzala, and his friend from school – guitarist Adam. We were fascinated in 80’s raw sound and spirit of this music, and disgusted with modern metal trends, that’s why we called this band Repulsor – to repulse all that pissed us off – but with classic, thrashy –or ending, just like Kreator, Tormentor or Violator.  Soon we’ve found our drummer Michal and second guitarist. Unfortunately Adam left the band really soon, but we haven’t ceased playing and so we’re playing for today.

How would you describe your style? Which bands influenced your music?
We would say that we’ re playing classic, aggressive thrash metal, with a little bit of melodic, heavy metal influences in few tracks. It’s really hard to say which metal bands influence us to play and compose, I guess it woudn’t be enough space for it here haha. But surely we can mention bands as Slayer, Motorhead, Sadus, Mercyful Fate or Repulsion. We’re big fans of oldschool death metal too. But we’re kinda openminded, we don’t close our self for the musical genre that we love most - metal, for example, I’m (Filip – Bass/Vocal) a big fan of electronic music, and the drummer,  Michal is strongly into post-rock.  Well, sometimes we shouldn’t admit that, cause I guess that metal die hards wouldn’t like that fact haha.

Why should a metalhead buy your demos/albums?
Some people would say that thrash metal is dead, and died a long time ago. And that there are too many bands like ours nowaday, playing the same old stuff, but, to be honest, if You won’t support these bands right now, in the future there will be only some plastic, over contrived, core bands, that got nothing to do with metal traditions and ethos. It’s all up to you. Metal scene is mostly fans, not bands. You create the demands and trends of the metal music.

What have you released so far and how were your releases received by the public/media?
Since now we’ve released a demo and an EP called Trapped in a Nightmare, this year it was re-released by Thrashing Madness label as an full album. We’ve also appeared on Thrashing Damnation thru Compilation vol.2, which is compilation of best, new wave thrash bands in our country, released by Defense Records. We’re still promoting our recent material from the album, and I would say that we’re doing it well, there are a lot of positive reviews of Trapped in a Nightmare, and we’ve participated in many interviews in smaller and bigger metal magazines.

Do you play live as well? How's your live activity so far?
Sure! Since now we’ve played about 50 gigs, with bands from our country and from abroad.  For example, this year we were supporting legendary polish band Kat. We’ve made two mini tours, and played in a lot of cities in Poland.

What should labels/zines/promoters know about your band? Why should they be interested in it?
We’re group of young people totally fascinated in classic metal stuff. We’re trying to promote our music and to keep metal spirit alive, no matter how hard it is (and belive me, it’s really, really hard in our country). We keep on fighting and never give up, it’s the thing that the whole heavy music is about for us. I think that’s enough to spent 5 minutes of your time to check our music. And then I’m quite sure you won’t be dissapointed.

What plans do you have for the near future as a band?
We want to record a new album and release it with a label.  Then make the European tour. And play as many gigs as it is possible.
