Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
Originated in 2003 by Christ Hammer and Storm Lord, worked with many session drummers (Cory Grady, Richard M. Exekkutioner) and a final addition of Jamison in 2008 on bass guitar.

How would you describe your style? Which bands influenced your music?
Our style is Ambient, Atmospheric Black Metal. Some of our influences are Woodensthone, Lunar Aurora, Watain, Deathspell Omega, Leviathan and Darkthrone.

Why should a metalhead buy your demos/albums?
Our latest E.P. features a lot of drone and ambient elements that sets apart from the rest of the USBM scene.

What have you released so far and how were your releases received by the public/media?
Shitestrom has only OFFICIALLY released a demo in 2005 called Nocturnal Crucifixion, and an E.P. called Misanthropic Sorcery at the Obsidian Gates in 2009 along with a slew of singles and demos.

Do you play live as well? How's your live activity so far?
Shitestrom does plan to play live under the right conditions. We will keep people posted on our website.

What sould labels/zines/promoters know about your band? Why should they be interested in it?
There is no reason that any promoters/labels should be interested in Shitestrom unless they are interested in musicians that write music for themselves and to provoke satanic imagery and no other reason. Shitestrom is a cathartic endeavor with the purpouse of creating bleak and dark music. We feel that by talking to zines and distro's you can get to the center of the black metal scene/ fanbase to find people that will generally be interested in our message.

What plans do you have for the near future as a band?
We are releasing an upcoming split with sacro blackened grind band KILLGASM. www.killgasm.com, in the works of collabing with a new session drummer for a full length and featured on various compilations

Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?
If you go to our myspace (www.myspace.com/shitestrom) we have music and a link to purchase the latest E.P., also many blog sites have hosted our music.
