Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
The band was born in the summer 2003 from a project of friends, we started playing some covers: Metallica, Sepultura, Death… were the bands wich inspired our early days. Soon the ideas in writing and composing new songs become a need. That was the conjunction ring from the past like a coverband to the future like a band with his own personality and productions. Then we changed the name in SYMBOLYC. Our first releases are distilled with thrash metal, but with the new album we switched to a much aggressive and powerful death metal.
How would you describe your style? Which bands influenced your music?
Our style is strongly influenced by the most important death metal bands in the scene today, such as: Behemoth, Vader, Decapitated and so on…
Why should a metalhead buy your demos/albums?
Because our music kickz asses! :D
What have you released so far and how were your releases received by the public/media? We have released 2 demos: "Souls in the Dark” (3 songs) and "Wingless”, both inspired to thrash metal. These releases were sold during our dates by ourselves, the feedback of the public was pretty good at all!
Do you play live as well? How's your live activity so far?
Yes, we often play live, our activity started in 2005 playing in some pubs and concerts. The public is very important to us, we receive from it power and energy, and we hope to kicks enough asses while playing live ;)
What sould labels/zines/promoters know about your band? Why should they be interested in it?
We think they should know about Symbolyc, we are working so hard for developing our personality and our own style. We are still working to find a place in the extreme Death Metal all over the world.
What plans do you have for the near future as a band?
We are working hard for a new release, stay tuned!
