Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
"The Scarlet Embrace" was founded in 2009 in Odessa, Ukraine. It consisted of drummer Eugen Dis, guitarist Stas Prokopenko , Vocalist Roman (Golenor) Sukhonos, bassist Kirill Green and keyboardist H. Shershun. Our band has combined various musical visions into one core, that's how the title "Scarlet Embrace" was arose, discribing aggressivness of modern progressive music and furious beauty of sincere symphonic music . During writing the material and performing on stage we've met a lot of talented musicians, particularly with an wonderful sound engineer, musican and composer Eduard Bikovec (EdRecords). With his help and instructions the band has recorded the first track "Алхимия Ночи" (rus. The Obscure Hermetics 2011). After a number of performances the band and their friend Ed from "EdRecords" studio have started recording Debut full length album! On final recording phases Hristian (Shershun) entered the National Music Academy named after P. Tchaikovsky in Kiev and left the ranks of permanent member, but we dont cease to engage in collaborative music writing! 2013 began with changes, the band decided to use English as the main language in lyrics. We started translating the album and searching new ideas and opportunities. In the writing process we decided to add an even more interesting detail in our sound, particularly the female vocals on permanent grounds! This search has brought us to our back vocals Alevtina Berger. In 2014 was released our debut album "TALIO". On march of 2014 Kirill Green and Eugen Dis left the band due the personal reasons. Now you can find there music in the new project: Harmaeon, where they write cinematic and OST music.

How would you describe your style? Which bands influenced your music?
We think our style is Melodic/Sympho/Death Metal.
Many bands influenced our music: Nightwish, Kamelot, SepticFlesh, COB, Symphony X and others...
Why should a metalhead buy your demos/albums?
Because this is a cool album. Rock!
What have you released so far and how were your releases received by the public/media?
All are saying "its a good work" and many good words about it. We have many interviews on spanish and Portuguese magazines. We are working on our sound and want to make more music for our fans!
Do you play live as well? How's your live activity so far?
We play live shows. We want to go on world metal stage! But in our country its so difficult. but we still believe in our dream...
What should labels/zines/promoters know about your band? Why should they be interested in it?
We write music in many styles.
We love music.
We love the fans.
We never giving up!
What plans do you have for the near future as a band?
New material for the second album, and many more...! :)
