Review:
Second album from this Swedish group that by the time they released their debut, in 2019 they were all between 13 and 15 years of age, so just add 2-3 years and you know where they are now, still a very young group I'd say. We definitely need more of these bands in our scene, they have the potential of refreshing everything, of coming up with new stuff, improve, evolve. TDF are also full of potential and although they don't come up with something very innovative here, their style of Thrash Metal is an interesting blend of old-school and new influences of the genre, they are not afraid of stretching over other styles and blending sonorities that otherwise would raise eyebrows, and the result I can easily say will be on the liking of both old-schoolers and newer fans of the genre. There's melody, energy, plenty of hooks all over, catchy guitar leads, good solos, powerful riffs, an inviting rhythm section, and a vocal compartment that although is lead by a hoarse, raging vocal, it is often completed by melodic background vox. Pretty neat album, varied and entertaining, a solid effort that prepares the audience for some major things to come.
