The "Trails of Sorrow" was born in March last year, from an idea of mine and Friedrich’s because of our passion for doom metal in all its shades, from gothic and dark to the most extreme shades. After composing the first songs and publishing them on our Facebook page and our Youtube channel, we have been contacted by Trevor from Domestic Genocide Records and soon  the debut cd "Languish in Oblivion" will be out 11 september.

The Trails Of Sorrow sounds combining funereal topics with elements of romantic melancholy, typical of the doom emotional expressiveness whit a mix dark.

What makes the Trails Of Sorrow peculiar is the special symbiosis between the music and the lyrics. The lyrics are the most important element to us. The lyrics deal mainly with emotions such as sadness, loneliness, pain, seen not in a negative way but as pure life experience elements, depicted, of course, all in a romantic and poetic way.

Skepticism are among the masters of this genre, together with all the classic bands we all loved, like My Dying Bride, early Anathema, early Cathedral and so on. This genre has its roots in the most classic doom, like the one of Candlemass or even before that, in the dark atmosphere of Black Sabbath. Bands that eventually gave birth to many more genres.

Because the music Should we always give something, we take emotions us and I think our music That Gives emotions with the heart we put into our songs for the composition from Friedrich and myself in the lyrics and my voice, I think we had a big luck in finding this magical mix that form the Trails Of Sorrow.

This is our debut ever, "Languish In Oblivon" is our first CD, so do not know what the media say about our music, I can say what they say so much good the guys who listen to our songs and it is thanks to them that we were encouraged to continue in our compositions.

Live performances are not in our plans for the immediate future, but our idea is to have images projected during the songs that we will perform, plus some more elements to create the atmosphere together with images and music, like light effects and more.

I Can Say That in Proportion to our little Existence we are building something with our work and with the support of the media and young people who listen to our music and with the help of the Domestic Genocide Records who Believed in us from the beginning we are doing tie the name of our band.

Simply because we have something to say, in the compositions to Friedrich and the words that concern me personally.

Expect to see the response from the media and guys who support us in while 

we're working for promotion of "Languish In Oblivion" will be out 11 september and we working on new material that I hope will come out next year.
