Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
Hi Adrian, and thanks for the opportunity.
Well the band really started in 1993, I had to move to Germany and left my previous band. I have recorded 2 demos, doing guitar/bass/vocals, and Armageddon doing the drums and mixing. After this, I had to make a long break for different reasons. Now, in early 2011 the beast woke up, and the band is now back! We are actually only 2 members, Armageddon for the drums, and myself, for the rest.

How would you describe your style? Which bands influenced your music?
Unholy War plays Thrash / Black Metal. The influences are coming from different part of the metal world, in heavy, thrash, black and even death metal. For the thrash part, it's mostly Kreator, Destruction, Sodom, Overkill, Testament. For the black part, old stuff like Darkthrone, Bathory, Mayhem, Marduk, Dimmu. But I also have some riffs like Maiden or Manowar, stuff like that!

Why should a metalhead buy your demos/albums?
Well, nobody has to... we try to make good music that suits us. If someone listen to it and like it, then feel free to buy our stuff. There is nothing I can tell you for this, just trust your hears!

What have you released so far and how were your releases received by the public/media?
We have only 2 demos.
The first one "Annihilation of mankind" was released in September 2003. The public was very positive about it. My regret now, is that all songs are all going in the same direction. It's quit linear. But overall, people liked it!
Shortly after, we recorded a split with french BM Z.B.T. Again, we received a positive feedback for it, the quality was not that good, but the songs were in the same spirit that the ones on "A.O.M".

Do you play live as well? How's your live activity so far?
We would like to. But I am in Germany, Armageddon is in France, and it's not easy. I will see after the recording of the new stuff will be done, perhaps trying to find people here and start the real deal!

What should labels/zines/promoters know about your band? Why should they be interested in it?
The band is an old school underground entity. Not sure about what this all means... but I try to keep this as underground as possible. Not that I do not want anybody to be aware of this, but in my opinion BM should stay unnoticed. So I contact people in the underground, but no BM geek. You can say that it's strange saying this in an interview supposed to be shown on YouTube. Yes YouTube is a big thing, but as long as it stays "closed" I am fine with this.

What plans do you have for the near future as a band?
Recording the new stuff is quit a heavy thing. The project is to have 2 cd, one with covers, a kind of "tribute to the gods", and the second one as the new demo/album of the band. After this, we will see.

Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?
