Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
Ok, First time we met on 2008 hehe with formation Kode on vocal, Dimas on guitar, Death on guitar, and Luthfi on drum and we started to rehearsal and we still not found the band's name and then Dimas gave some name and we decided and chose Whispered Necrology. First 2009 we think, Dimas and Tyo resigned from band and.. In the middle of 2009, Ucup joined the band as bassist. And we recorded some material but with old concept and played on local gigs. And then about end of 2010, Ucup resigned. The band was vaccum for a few months and Kode thought about blackened death metal style for our band. And we rehearsal with new concept and Iman joined the band as guitar and Try as bassist. We made some songs and we recorded one song titled Ov The God Reborn. After that, Iman had to go to dormitory for his education to be a pilot. So, Ferry fill that position for now as guitar. The new line-up are Kode on vocal, Death on guitar, Ferry on guitar, Try on bass, and Luthfi on drumset
How would you describe your style? Which bands influenced your music?
Hmm, we are playing in death metal but we mix it with some taste of black metal with the lyrics and guitar chord. Our biggest influence is Behemoth because we think that band is the best blackened black metal we think. But not only that, we also add Belphegor from Austria and Hate from Poland. Hope we can mix it for blackened death metal fan's ear. Enjoy !
Why should a metalhead buy your demos/albums?
Support is the most important thing . Without support from fans to buy albums, we are nothing. Buy the albums and go to the shows and gigs to support the band on the stage. Support the underground scene !
What have you released so far and how were your releases received by the public/media?
We have released 2 songs with old concept and 1 song titled Ov The God Reborn with the new concept. We just have one song for now and about a month we will record our new songs. We think people haven't listened our demo yet but some people have listen our songs and I think they like it hehe. We want our songs are listened worldwide
Do you play live as well? How's your live activity so far?We think we play live good. We see people are enjoy with our music at the gigs. But we must work up with our performance so people are satisfied to see our live. Our last live perfomance at South of Sickness and we see people are enjoy with our live and we still searching for gigs
What sould labels/zines/promoters know about your band? Why should they be interested in it?
Until now we think label/promoters haven't known about our band. We hope with this interview, label/promoters know about our band. I think they must interested because we are blackened death metal from Indonesia. I think that style is still little bit in Indonesia
What plans do you have for the near future as a band?
We hope in a month later, we want to record our new songs and make EP and promote it. And we hope we still exist until we record our first album. Certainly, a band want make an album and we hope we can make it as soon as possible.
