Blitz Quitz (yes, it's Quitz, not Quiz, don't ask) is a template questionaire for bands to promote themselves in Pest Webzine.

- the template questions to be answered are below (the questions are generic, that way the interview will never be out of date)
- ANY extreme and/or traditional metal band interested in this interview will have the interview published as text (with pics, logo, links) on Pest Webzine
- bands will have to send by email (contact@pestwebzine.com) the following:

1. interview answers
2. 1-2 band fotos
3. band logo
4. band links (website, Bandcamp, YouTube, Facebook, etc)

- the interview will be posted on www.pestwebzine.com

It's free promotion, be proactive!

VERY IMPORTANT: Genres accepted (please, if you don't fit in any, ask first!): http://pestwebzine.com/faq/what_genres_does_pest_webzine_cover/1-0-3

1. Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.

2. How would you describe your style? Which bands influenced your music?

3. Why should a metalhead buy your demos/albums?

4. What have you released so far and how were your releases received by the public/media?

5. Do you play live as well? How's your live activity so far?

6. What should labels/zines/promoters know about your band? Why should they be interested in it?

7. What plans do you have for the near future as a band?

8. Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?

This section will present fresh releases to our readers directly from you, the artists. Answer our template questionaire, email it to contact@pestwebzine.com together with the requested material and present your latest release to our readers, in your own words. Simple as that!

Basically you'll answer a few template questions that will help portraying your latest release (not older than 6 months!) to our readers.

Send us the answers to our questions on email (contact@pestwebzine.com) together with the following:

- release cover artwork
- band picture
- band logo
- link to a sample of the album (either audio or video)
- band links (website, social media, etc)

1. Please tell us a few words about the new release, about the music on it as a whole or a few words on each track in part. How are you happy with the final release?
2. How would you describe/label the music on it? Does it sounds like anything we might have heard before?
3. Where was it recorded and how much time did it take you to record it? Any interesting stories from the recording/producing the material?
4. What can you tell us about the cover artwork? Is there a link between the artwork and the lyrics? What are the topics of your lyrics?
5. What do you expect to gain through this release? What are the band's aims at the moment?
6. Is there a special format the material is released in? Or is it released in multiple formats? How many copies were pressed?
7. Where and how will you promote this new release?
8. Where can we order it from?

Note: The interview refers strictly to your latest release, not older than 6 months!

New writers are always welcome, just CONTACT US if interested. We're looking for dedicated, honest Extreme and/or Traditional Metal followers with good writing skills and a tremendous appetite for Underground music. It doesn't matter where you are from, but it is important to have good English language skills.

Well, basically you earn only experience, Pest Webzine is a non profit webzine; you get to hear the latest Extreme Metal releases, nothing you wouldn't find on your favorite download sites I guess, but this way you get to give something back, you share your opinions and support the scene we all love so much.

We do not review any more digital promos, sorry.

All reviews posted on Pest Webzine are just our personal opinions, do NOT take them as the absolute truth, try to form your own opinions by listening to the releases, there are so many ways to listen to a band's music now (before buying their products) and that is the simplest and most honest way to help the Underground.

If a review is bad, that only means the reviewer doesn't like it, nothing personal. If you can't handle bad reviews (if it's the case), don't send your stuff!

Important: All Extreme and Traditional Metal reviews published in Pest Webzine will be also published in the printed magazine Slowly We Rot! No received material will be returned to sender, if you want your material returned don't send it in the first place!

Sending promos by regular mail - please ask for snail mail address! All promos sent by snail mail will be reviewed. Physical promos' reviews are being published also in Slowly We Rot Fanzine!

Important! We will try to sell complete material we receive so that the funds we get from selling it will be used to pay domain and hosting fees for this site, if you want to help out you can send the material in the same form you are selling it (with complete booklet, mint condition for both audio and sleeve condition), and you can also send multiple copies, but this is completely up to you. If you don't want the material you send to be sold please mention this beforehand. This won't affect the final review in any shape or form!

Promo material (not designed to be sold like hole-punched, cardboard, copied, marked, damaged promos) will be spread for FREE as give-aways or freebies after being reviewed. This won't affect the final review in any shape or form!

By submitting your promos you automatically acknowledge and agree with our terms!

We are not reviewing any more digital promos at the moment, sorry. We will still download and listen to digital promos but only for choosing tracks for our Pest Metal Radio Show.
Don't worry, your digital promos won't be shared with anyone.

Please subscribe to our Newsletter, or add us on Facebook or Twitter to be informed when your material is reviewed and published in Pest Webzine.
