Please tell us a few words about the new release, about the music on it as a whole or a few words on each track in part. How are you happy with the final release?
VORZUG: Well so far we only have 2 tracks recorded for the full length, we're going to be finishing up recording in Oct. But so far we're very happy with what we have. In terms of the release, we're going in a different direction than most bands are going in.

How would you describe/label the music on it? Does it sounds like anything we might have heard before?
VORZUG: It's Old-School Death Metal. We're heavily inspired by Dismember, Entombed, Massacre but we also have ties in black metal. When I listen to the music I'm impressed with it. We have our own sound so it comes off as fresh.

Where was it recorded and how much time did it take you to record it? Any interesting stories from the recording/producing the material?
VORZUG: We do all of our recording with Michael Beck at Sound Vision Recording Studios here in Arizona.
Our latest single I AM IN HELL was done in about 8 hours. All of the bass tracks were done by Tom Miller and Tri-Tone Mobile Recording of Baltimore, Maryland. Well after leaving a recording session one night Dan (our drummer) calls me and tells me he thinks he may have hit something, I asked him what he hit, and his response
was "i think it was one of those 4 foot tall shaggy dogs, or maybe it was one of those shaggy haired kids running around in the street." I'll stop that story there because it only gets worse, but it happens.

What can you tell us about the cover artwork? Is there a link between the artwork and the lyrics? What are the topics of your lyrics?
VORZUG: Most of the time our covers have little to do with our lyrics. Though on this album we are planning to have it related. Lyrical topics include occult ideas, horror themes, and basic death metal murder and mayhem.

What do you expect to gain through this release? What are the band's aims at the moment?
VORZUG: A couple of things. Mostly to get our name out, thats obviously the most important thing to do is to get noticed. Hopefully people will take notice of the quality material and spread the word. The second thing is to make some sales. Obviously if people take notice it will help our sales.

Is there a special format the material is released in? Or is it released in multiple formats? How many copies were pressed?
VORZUG: Well right now we just have the digital single out. When the album is finished we are releasing on digital and physical as for how many copies we decided to do 100 at a time, if they sell we will make more, but with digital being more cost effective that is our main focus.

Where and how will you promote this new release?
VORZUG: Promotion will be handled by our PR team. We have the metal detector music promotions on our team, and we couldn't be happier with the work they've done for us. We also have promotions through our label/distro. As for where it will be promoted that is out of our hands.

Where can we order it from?
VORZUG: www.vorzug.net is our site, and www.vorzug.info is our store site
