5 years into their band life and 3 years since their debut Dispyt manage to release a second studio album, an assault of 13 new tracks into half an hour of playing time. The Pietarsaari based trio are delivering their extremely aggressive, abrasive and offensive brand of Crust Black Death with such an intensity and density that it will make it hard for someone who's not used to these sounds to even get through the first track, so from the start I can tall this is not something made for the masses, maybe against them to be more precise. Some very few semi-melodic passages and some parts that slow down to mid-pace rhythms could be considered as a lifeline for the profane listener, but for the most part this is complete and utter hate and anger spitting from start to finish. Crustly and meaty guitar riffs that remind of the Swedish Death Metal scene, fat bass lines and intense drumming and demented screaming vocals that are present everywhere are enriched at times by some semi-melodic guitar leads or atmospheric mid-tempo guitar riffs, and the whole comes wrapped in a serious Punk / Grind attitude. Not for the faint of heart!
