Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
This lineup has been together since 2009 and there are three of us so this is a very traditional trio-based band with guitar/vocals, drums and bass. All of us like old school metal and punk rock bands so it is very natural for us to play together and create music we all love.

How would you describe your style? Which bands influenced your music?
Our music is a unique mix of melodic punk rock and old school thrash. Outcome is a style that kicks you in the groins like Slayer but at the same time it is as melodic and catchy as Bad Religion or Misfits.

Why should a metalhead buy your demos/albums?
We are fast and furious and there`s a lot of pure energy in our music. If you can`t see our live gigs you can taste our energy and attitude by buying our studio recordings. We recommend that before listening clear your room of anything fragile because moshing is inevitable.

What have you released so far and how were your releases received by the public/media?
Revolution EP 11/2011 and One of a Kind EP 10/2012, both recorded in Fantom Studio and mixed by Samu Oittinen. Revolution EP got pretty good feedback from Finnish music media and it has reviewed also by German Rock Hard Magazine. We are waiting for the reviews about One of a Kind at the moment.

Do you play live as well? How's your live activity so far?
Discipline X is at its best on stage. We are loud, energetic and sweaty as Freddy Krueger in hell. Year 2012 has been very busy doing gigs all around Finland, and with the same intensity, we will keep destroying venues through 2013.

What sould labels/zines/promoters know about your band? Why should they be interested in it?
We make our music with passion without taking it too seriously. Our style is rather unique which is not dependent on what's in fashion or not. We have an extraordinary touch on everything we do which keeps our old and new fans interested and gives them something fresh and different from amongst the dull mainstream.

What plans do you have for the near future as a band?
We are selling gigs for the year 2013 and we try to tour as much as possible. We have written some new material already and we are planning to record a long play album in the future. We are also seeking a record deal.

Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?
Order physical CD by mail, it costs 5 euros a piece. You can possibly find our band from Spotify sooner or later. Until that please check out our web sites:
