Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.

Samrt was founded in winter of 2006. it was gathered by Nekrst and Nemanja(Besomar). Ideology of band is Slavic paganism and antichristianity, lyrics are written in Serbian language. In May of 2007. we are recorded first demo entitled Poljubi me majko odlazim u smrt which is now released by Darzamadicus Records as split CD with German band On Horns Impaled and soon will be out tape edition of Poljubi me majko odlazim u smrt on Misanthropic Intolerance(limited number of tapes will include patch, pin and sticker).

Current line up is:

Dragan Pagan – vocal (Posmrtna Liturgija)

Nekrst – guitars

Demonetras – bass (The Stone, May Result, Besomar)

Nemanja – drums (Besomar, Posmrtna Liturgija)

How would you describe your style? Which bands influenced your music?

Simply as a raw black metal. We was influenced by the bands like Immortal, Gorgoroth, The Stone…

Why should a metalhead buy your demos/albums?

If you are looking for true raw black metal than this is for you!

What have you released so far and how were your releases received by the public/media?

As I said above so far we have one demo entitled ‘Poljubi me majko odlazim u smrt’ which is released as split CD with On Horns Impaled on Darzamadicus Records in September this year and so far we are very satisfied with public reactions.

Do you play live as well? How's your live activity so far?

So far we played only tree shows, first one was in our home town Apatin in February 2008. with Infest and M.A.D. Goya, second was month later in Belgrade with Vokodlok, Triumfall, Defilement and Last Funeral and last gig was 22.11.2009. in Belgrade with Nargaroth.

What should labels/zines/promoters know about your band? Why should they be interested in it?

Well, this month we will entered studio to record our first full-length album on which we will have guest appearance of Urok from May Result and The Stone so any label interested to hear this material for possible releasing can contact us on samrt666@neobee.net

What plans do you have for the near future as a band?

For now we are occupied with recording of album and after we finish that we will looking forward to make some live shows to promote new material.
