Please tell us a few words about the new release, about the music on it as a whole or a few words on each track in part. How are you happy with the final release?
I am as happy as I could be with the final result, with a few exceptions. Things can always be improved, but I had to draw the line somewhere, it just wasn't viable to take things further than I did. Like expected there has been both positive and some more relaxed reviews, as people have pretty varying tastes in music. But the feedback has mostly been great, with some being over the top fantastic.

How would you describe/label the music on it? Does it sounds like anything we might have heard before?
You know, I really didn't think so at first. I have never really spent much time practicing other people's music, and I don't have any particular style/band in mind when I write, it just comes out naturally. But when reading reviews and comments on the album, it seems that I have been more audibly influenced by bands like At The Gates, Dismember and Edge Of Sanity than I thought. I suppose the overall sound is a mix of early 90's deathmetal and more modern style electronic metal. Original but still familiar I suppose you could say.

Where was it recorded and how much time did it take you to record it? Any interesting stories from the recording/producing the material?
The whole album is recorded, mixed and mastered in my own home, except vox, Tyler's leads and the additional instruments on Aybars remix of SoL. I started writing the songs early 2013, and recorded the songs as I was writing them. Same goes for vox and leads, it was a continuous process, and not done in a batch. The live drums was supposed to be recorded at the end in one go, but the drummer backed out in the middle of the recording process, which was a total bummer. This lead to me keeping the midi drums I had done for the demos, with a touch-up to get them as close as I could to sounding like proper drums. I think it turned out quite alright, although I would have preferred live drums.
Another interesting fact about the album is that none of the participants has ever met in real life. All communication and work has been done over the internet. Not a world-first perhaps, but still somewhat unusual. A true product of the modern world.

What can you tell us about the cover artwork? Is there a link between the artwork and the lyrics? What are the topics of your lyrics?
The artwork was done by the awesome Aybars Altay, who also did the remix of SoL. The cover is inspired by the character in the song with the same name, who is an young woman who was abused as a child, and as an adult is hunting down and killing child molesters. A dark angel sort of thing, doing good but in a bad way. Other songs deals with stuff like depression, family abuse, war, ghosts, sociopaths, death and that sort of thing, but not in the usual graphic way that many death metal bands do. All the songs are written in present first person perspective, apart from A Child But Not who is in third person perspective to illustrate how we tend to distance ourselves from taking action when we suspect children are living in abusive homes. Another exception is Push, which is a letter written by a recently deceased person to his loved ones.

What do you expect to gain through this release? What are the band's aims at the moment?
Well, my level of ambition is not that high actually. The main purpose was just to have a creative outlet after being on a decade-long break. I didn't even plan on releasing anything at all in the beginning, but the project grew on me and took on a life of it's own. This is why the album is available as a free download on bandcamp, I have no delusion of making any money on it anyway, so I'd rather have many people listening to it for free instead of just a few who paid for it. I do appreciate the ones that support me financially though, even if I did this whole thing on a tight budget it still cost me a lot of money out of my own pocket. I have plans to release at least one more album, and the more money I make on this release the more options I have for improving the next. I would also love to play live shows, but that is impossible without financial support from a record label, so the likelihood of that ever happening is unfortunately pretty low.

Is there a special format the material is released in? Or is it released in multiple formats? How many copies were pressed?
It's a digital release only, partly because of the hassle involved with physical release. It just wasn't worth it in relation to the few sales I could expect to make. If the interest is there I am open to reconsider though.

Where and how will you promote this new release?
Well, seeing as there will probably never be any live shows, I suppose the only promotion I will be able to do is to increase my online presence, networking and sharing with other artists and with fans.
