Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
Formed in early 1991 with the initial name of 'Infernal Scum' playing Thrash & Heavy Metal. Eventually, later throughout the year, the band was renamed to 'Cardiac Necropsy', graduating to Death Metal.
The band first release was on 1993 in a Death Metal compilation, under Masterpiece Productions, entitled 'The Birth'. The band suffered plenty of line-up changes and eventually went on hiatus throughout the late 90s.
In 2000, the band founding member, Yuz regrouped with a new lineup and incorporating their musical style towards Gore-grind. The band work on their new materials and release a Split CD/Cassette in 2002. Henceforth, they began to work with various labels around the world for more compilations and split releases within 2003-2009.
In 2010, the band managed to released their 1st full length album 'Morbid Scum Division' under Vrykoblast Productions.
In 2012, the band undergo another new change in their line-up. Moving forward, the band continued to rehearse and managed to record their 2nd full length album within the year. Conclusively, the band's new materials incorporated their musical style back to their primordial reign in the early 90s, Death Metal, with modern influences to their 2nd full length self-release album entitled 'Shayateen'.

How would you describe your style? Which bands influenced your music?
Initially the band started playing death metal, then progressing to grind, deathgrind/gore-grind through the years.
With the new album ‘Shayateen’, Cardiac Necropsy incorporated back the style of Death Metal with a more serious approach to the music.
We have been compared to Crytopsy, Behemoth, Severed Savior, Odious Mortem and even Californian death metal bands from webzines for this new album.

Why should a metalhead buy your demos/albums?
This is Cardiac Necropsy best album till date with better productions, professional recording & sound (Mastered by Colin Davis of Vile). Also with much more serious musical & lyrical approach. The new album is self-financed & released in digi-pak in a limited quantity with free patches while stock last !

What have you released so far and how were your releases received by the public/media?
So far ‘Shayateen’ have received some good & positive reviews locally here in Singapore & also from metal webzines around the world. We are very happy & honored with the results.

Do you play live as well? How's your live activity so far?
We played lives in several occasions ,meeting new metal-heads along the way in Hong Kong, Malaysia & Indonesia. We have yet to schedule for shows in other Asia countries & hopefully in the US & Europe in the new future.

What should labels/zines/promoters know about your band? Why should they be interested in it?
We have been in the scene for quite a long time & we have seen the changes in the metal scenes gradually with the emerging of sub-genre. We still stick to what we believe in playing. The band itself have been through many line-up changes & problem surfacing every single moment,  yet the band manage to stay alive till now & never fail to create more sick and brutal music for their friends & fans around the world.
We also have sold several merchandises along the way to create awareness & the existence of the band.

What plans do you have for the near future as a band?
We are planning some tours in Asia, getting some shows in Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Indonesia & Malaysia.
Also writing new materials & re-writing old songs for a 7” release.  ( Looking for labels for release/ co-release )
