Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
We have all been playing together for a number of years. Mark and Andy have played in bands together for around 17 years or so.  We all played In a death metal band up until five years ago and Brew our bass player still plays in that band too. Our line up consists of Mark Vocals and Drums, Andy guitar and Brew bass. Lockersludge started essentially as a side project but has evolved into a live outfit and our main band.

How would you describe your style? Which bands influenced your music?
Collectively the band is influenced by many types of metal and bands that have really influenced what we do are Crowbar and Cathedral. We try and incorporate sludge, doom and hardcore into our sound and hopefully this keeps it fresh whilst combining our favourite genres of metal.

Why should a metalhead buy your demos/albums?
People should listen to / buy our music as it’s all self-released and self-financed. It is all original compositions and very honest music delivered with passion.

What have you released so far and how were your releases received by the public/media?
So far we have released 3 albums titled ‘In living Fear’, ‘Falling On Our Faces’ & ‘Drawing Lessons’. We are entering the studio late August to record a short three track EP titled ‘Bullet in the Dark’. We have received some good reviews noticeably for the latest release ‘Drawing Lessons’.

Do you play live as well? How's your live activity so far?
Yes we do play Live mainly locally in the Southwest of England, UK. We have supported the Wounded Kings and are playing the ‘End of The World Festival’ this coming Saturday.

What should labels/zines/promoters know about your band? Why should they be interested in it?
Hopefully people should listen to our music because it is honest and mixes three genres together that in our opinion makes it a refreshing listening.

What plans do you have for the near future as a band?
We plan on recording the three track EP in August and then hopefully playing live as much as possible to support this release.

Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?
All of our music is available through bandcamp via our facebook page www.facebook.com/lockersludge
