Band: MURDERWORKER
Country: Spain
Title: Where Scream Becomes Silence
Label: Base Record Production
Year: 2018
Style: Death Metal

Review:
Although the band members seem all passed their first youth years, the band has been around only since 2017 and this one here is their debut album, a 12 tracks effort lasting for 40 minutes of old-school mostly mid-tempo Death Metal with the occasional fast paced passages as well, of course. Mostly influenced by the Swedish scene (Entombed, Grave, Dismember), but adding a serious and well thought out Brittish flavor (a la Bolt Thrower and Benediction) and even an Obituary maybe even a Six Feet Under horror-like touch to the whole, MurderWorker's sound is meaty and fat as fuck delivering plenty of blast-beats, catchy guitar riffs, memorable choruses and even some short but well done guitar solos here and there, spiced up with plenty of horror movie cuts to get you more into that murder-squad atmosphere. I'd say MurderWorker did a very good debut, I'll keep on spining it in the future, too, so from my point of view if you're into the above-mentioned bands even a little you can consider giving this Spanish quartet a well-deserved chance.
