Review:
After being released on tape by Transylvanian Tapes (how funny a name for an Oregon based label, at least to me, a Transylvanian) in 2020, and selling most of the print-run as it seems, this 4 tracks demo gets a CD version this year via Polish Godz ov War. What we get here is some totally obscure sounding, sinister, purulent type of fast paced Death Metal with occasional slow to mid-tempo passages to enhance the overall brutality. It's an old-school type of material, there's not much originality here but it's done with perfect know-how, by seemingly some fanatics of the genre because it has that oppressive and dark atmosphere any fans would expect from such a release, and I think that's the best feature of this band, their capacity to build and deliver some highly dense, sickening, expressive compositions. What I have enjoyed the most here were the density and variety of the vocal parts, and the short but important guitar leads that give a certain memorable aspect to each track. The production is demo-raw type, but clear enough to allow full enjoyment, and even enhance the atmospheres. 4 tracks in 13 minutes is what we get here, and after another demo in 2018 I guess it's quite time for a debut album here. Another band to keep our eyes on!
