Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
The band is new but the motivation to create is longstanding. This is just another withered branch on our complex and multi-layered musical tree. Our members you may know or you may not but we have all played and performed for time immemorial. This is just the latest of our endeavours. Despite its inherent futility, creating our own sounds is an itch that we cannot stop scratching.

How would you describe your style? Which bands influenced your music?
Nihilistic. Progressive. Metal.
For listening and Inspiration it is Heavy Metal. Think 80’s, 90’s and underground. Also overground progressives from the 70’s and beyond. Bands: ELP to Dismember, Peter Gabriel to Rush, Candlemass to Iron Maiden.

Why should a metalhead buy your demos/albums?
To directly experience the futility of their life represented in musical and lyrical form.

What have you released so far and how were your releases received by the public/media?
EP’s: ‘Vulture Manifesto’ followed by our new release ‘The Crucifixion of Hope’. Three tracks per EP of nihilistic progressive futility available on digipack CD and streaming/download across all services.
Cover: ‘Vulturic Variation 1: The Immaculate Confection’ a Digital only cover track
We don’t care for the responses of others. What they think is meaningless to us. We, the vultures, exist only to selfishly create, to spread our gospel as we see fit and preach to those who need us.  We are not here to be liked and we are honour-bound to disappoint. You are welcome to follow our journey: it means little; you are welcome to ignore: it means less.

Do you play live as well? How's your live activity so far?
We perform live when it is needed. It is as done often as it is it is required. As with all our endeavours we do not do this for the baying of the crowd or to vicariously enjoy the ‘fans’ pleasure. We are driven to it as a farmer is driven to force his Ox through the barren field.

What should labels/zines/promoters know about your band? Why should they be interested in it?
Despite the utter pointlessness of the creation of anything, somehow there are chinks of rough-hewn pleasure to be had from listening to our music or witnessing us in the flesh. It is therefore seemingly worthwhile for anyone to spend a few moments of their time indulging themselves. Spreading our negativity wide is satisfying to us, so the more who become assaulted by it the better.

What plans do you have for the near future as a band?
Work is underway on Vulturic Variations II – a systematic robbery and debasement of cultural artefacts. This will be available early in 2019 on Howling Invocations.
We will be venturing on to the stage as needs must.
