Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
We are Deathnoisefrequency from Saudi Arabia, Jeddah city, we are Ahmed Mahmoud/ vocals and lyricist and Ghassan Ibrahim/ guitars and noise effects, we have formed in late 2016, we play together in a Doom Death band called Grieving Age and decided to do something different but still depressing and heavy, we usually write very longs songs with the original band and wanted to experiment a shorter songs structures, driven by noise and chaos, we started writing songs for a full album but because we were too busy in our daily jobs and the lack of recording studios as well we were on and off but managed to record the album between 2016 and 2019, the album is not ready yet though, still need some polishing and touches.

How would you describe your style? Which bands influenced your music?
Experimental noise metal! That would be most suitable genre though we are not sure what style of music is this! We wanted to play with noise at first and then build the music around the noise and chaos, the projector never meant to be Metal at the start but more like a depressing rock/post-punk but it seems that our metal roots have grown stronger and effected the whole idea and turned into Metal.
We are influenced by The Cure, Swans, Chelsea Wolfe, Celtic Frost, Anathema, My Dying Bride, Chet Baker, Miles Davis, Pink Floyd, The Doors, it’s a combination of all that, I don’t know how to describe it perfectly but it’s something revolve around those bands.

Why should a metalhead buy your demos/albums?
Cause it’s Metal! Lol, well, it’s slightly sound different than your usual Metal albums and what you hear every day, if you wanna get into a chaotic noisy sullen journey with hidden beauty then this is your piece!

What have you released so far and how were your releases received by e the public/media?
We released a song in December in 2016 and then went to sleep but decided to resume working on the band again, we pulled out the single and decided to re-do it again with new instrumentations and include it in the EP, so technically we have one video out there which is receiving good feedbacks, the EP will be out on the 17th of July on most of the music platforms such Spotify, Tidal, Anghami, Deezer, Itunes..ETC.

Do you play live as well? How's your live activity so far?
No, we haven’t played any live show under Deathnoisefrequency but we are planning to when the EP is out, we could do 30 mins show and include more songs from the coming album.
No live activities, frankly speaking, we are a lazy duo, we have a daily demanding jobs plus families so we do it for fun and whenever we can, but definitely love to put shows from time to time.

What should labels/zines/promoters know about your band? Why should they be interested in it?
Cause we are offering something different and fresh!

What plans do you have for the near future as a band?
To release the full debut album end of 2020/early 2021 and do more domestic shows and if we got any requests to play global shows.

Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?
The EP will be released on the 17th of July on most of the music platforms, you will find it there when it’s out! But you can buy it via our Bandcamp: https://deathnoisefrequency.bandcamp.com/releases
