Please present your label, when and where was it started, who is involved in its activities and what genres are promoted by it.Fernando - hail brother, thanks for the interest in us. Warfaust started the label back 2002 with the intend of releasing raw and harsh material,only in 2009 i (Fernando) joined forces with him, he needed some help since he also wanted more from the label and till now we work togheter with the same goals.
We release metal and promote METAL.
WAR FAUST: When i started back on 2002, i started because it was a dream that i have, but also to try to help a band that i played (IN CUNT). I tried to gather all METAL that i liked, Black, Thrash, Death, Heavy and DOOM, but after some time i saw that was impossible to reach everyone. So i started to dedicate mostly to Black Metal. In the end of 2009 i found Fernando, he had the same way of seeing things concerning a label, so i invite him in order to work in the original idea of WAR Productions.
Tell us a few words on each or the most important releases of your label, and which of them are still available for purchase.
Fernando - well all our release are important for us we dedicate or time to them and in every release its also a lesson for us to be better.
Most of our releases are available, some of them only a few copies so its better to buy them know ahahahah.
WAR FAUST: Like Fernando said, all releases are important for us and all of them are a big lesson for us do it better and better, but at the same time i must say that my first two releases on tape (when everything started) and the first CD (i remember when i pick it up on the factory, i was very very happy looking to it, lol) had a great impact on me.
What are the most important features you look for in a band that is or has the chance to be signed on your label?
Fernando - Music its the most important and of course the attitude of the bands.
WAR FAUST: First of all, we must like the band's sound, the attitude of them, but i must say that we release what we like, not what the others like.
How can a band get in touch with you? What should bands know before submitting their promos for your consideration?Fernando - bands,labels, public in general could get in contact with us sending messages through space or smoke signals or even use pigeons, but its better by e-mail or snail mail. Only if you are a lucky guy can use the other possibilities.
WAR FAUST: morse code is also a possibility or evan Naval code. LOL. Email and snail mail is better and easier, i think...
What's the most important thing in the relationship between you and your bands? What is your label offering to its bands?
Fernando - We run a small label and we can't offer any big deals, but we try to promote them the best we can and distribute the release worldwilde.
WAR FAUST: Trust and hard work. We try to offer the best to the bands.
Is there anything you planned with your label and has not yet been completed?
Fernando - I think only one release is in standby, its a tribute to the lusitanian warrior DECAYED.
WAR FAUST: Concerning the releases that is the only one. arghhh. But a Festival and some naked and hot chicks attached to the releases (Is a good idea isn't???). LOL
How does the future looks for your label? Any major projects you would like to share with us?
Fernando - the future is dark as the night and full of METAL ahahahah, we are about to release a new ep from Iron kobra, the new album of Nox Illunis, Nethermancy and many more.
