Please tell us a few words about the new release, about the music on it as a whole or a few words on each track in part. How are you happy with the final release?
Altough this is our first release and it's just a demo, we wanted to make it sounding good as possible. The songs are straight Thrash metal mixed with various subgenres, such as death, prog and we like to use slower, even melodic elements to try to create our own unique sound. Of course, there are things we've learned from and want to do better on our next release, which will be our first full-lenght album, but in full we are happy with the demo.
How would you describe/label the music on it? Does it sounds like anything we might have heard before?
On the demo you can hear our influences right away. In the future we trying to push the envelope as far as the genre of music we're playing. We like bands like Metallica, Tool, Kreator, Death, Gojira, Opeth etc.. So we can't root our legs only in thrash metal.
Where was it recorded and how much time did it take you to record it? Any interesting stories from the recording/producing the material?
It was recorded by myself in my room. We probably took a couple of hours to record it but we did without rush, and 2 months to mix and master it. We had all the materials written and practiced before we started tracking. There aren't interesting stories from the recording, apart from the fact that it is literally recorded in my room with cheap mikes, and some people really thought we spend a lot of money for it.
What can you tell us about the cover artwork? Is there a link between the artwork and the lyrics? What are the topics of your lyrics?
No, not really. The first song is a very fast one with lyrics about witch hunting in the age of the inquisition and the ignorance, stupidity of mankind at that time. The Sterile Gods as well a very fast one, with an insteresing oriental intro and a melodic ending. The lyrics is inspired by the Dementors. They feed on human happiness and thus generate feelings of depression and left nothing but emptiness in anybody who let them in. The final track Louder than Bombs is inspired by the terrorism in these days. We think this light song is a good one to finish the demo.
What do you expect to gain through this release? What are the band's aims at the moment?
We just want to spread our name with the music we play and gain a basic fanbase.
Is there a special format the material is released in? Or is it released in multiple formats? How many copies were pressed?
Unfortunately, our demo is not released in any physical format. As soon as possible we are planning to record our first full-length album, which will be released on CD.
Where and how will you promote this new release?
Everywhere we can by any means possible.
