Death Trap where formed in the automn of 2013, by Ilias (guitars) and Giorgos (guitars) and after a few rehearsals the current line up was formed and Mixalis S. (vocals), Mixalis K. (bass) and Giannis P. (drums) joined the band. All of the band members were and are members of many important bands of the Greek underground scene (Revenge, Over-Throw, Endless Recovery, Carnal Dread etc). The band was formed with only aim to fulfill our bestial lust for pure satanic metal onslaught. Nothing else nothing more. We just want to play real old school meta l(no poser "retro" stuff here). Of course that doesn't mean we don't take what we do seriously… Anyway, since the band’s formation we are rehearsing hard and composing songs for future releases that will follow our debut 7’’inch

Well, we like to use the term Satanic Metal Onslaught because that’s exactly what it is. It’s a mix from all the classic metal genres the 80’s infernal masters created from heavy metal and NWOBHM to black-death/thrash. So listening to our music you ll find classic heavy metal, raging speed metal and pounding thrash influences combined with hellish vocals.

Well we think that buying a band’s records is the most important showing of support from a metalhead. Going to a band’s gig is an important showing of support as well but the only way to really help and support a band is by buying the records. So if any metalhead shares the same passion and lust for hellish metal as we do he should buy our records…

Well as we said before we are a totally new band, so we recently recorded our debut release. It’s gonna be a 7’’inch single entitled Full Moon Possession and it’s gonna be out in May probably by Weird Face Productions. Till now we haven't played live yet. We think that the way a band plays live plays a very important role in it’s general image. We want to play our first gig when we feel we are ready 100% to take the stage by storm and only then. But we have lots of plans for the near future. Expect nothing but a violent pose ripping show!

First of all they should know that we are here to stay and we are determined to spread the Death Trap evil metal spell to every vicious metal soul! We do what we do straight from the heart and we hope that will be appreciated. And even if that doesn't happen we don't give a damn we are still gonna be possessed by Satanic Metal Onslaught. And one last thing, labels and promoters who see metal as business and only care for their own profit stay the fuck  away from us!!!!

For the near future, we have some plans for our first gigs which is the biggest goal of the band right now. Other than that we are composing new material for our next release. It might be another single, a demo, a split or even a full length album we don't know that yet….
