Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
The Fattyú was created by Me that is a solo „band”. It’s genre is pagan black metal and dark ambient. This music project was born in winter of 2017 and it’s lyrics are based on folklore of the Carpathian Basin’s people.

How would you describe your style? Which bands influenced your music?
I wanted to create something, which follows the tradition of the old school black metal without cliches, but it does not copy the recognized ancestors/idol in servile way. My imagine was the next: the lyrics is based ont he Hungarian folklore. It contains mystic creatures and their legends, which are dark enough, moreover they are still in the different forms in the common knowledge, but these traditional things are not conspicuous in everyday life.
Many bands influenced my project, but the most important groups of them are the Burzum and the Satyricon. They are raw, dark and brave and experimenting. I love them.

Why should a metalhead buy your demos/albums?
It is a good question! Every metal bands usually think that they are better than others, and they are fucking evil, furthermore they are true, but the others play mainstream music. Please, listen to my music! If you like them and you have enough money, then buy my songs on the Bandcamp. I would be grateful, if you supported my ambitious black metal band. But if you don’t like my music, I apologized, because I've stolen your time.
In summary I offer my songs to such people, who like this mentality.

What have you released so far and how were your releases received by the public/media?
Two albums were released by me so far, the Hagyaték contains seven songs and it became available in 2018, moreover the Ritu Paganorum EP was created in the April of 2019.
The products mentioned got positive receptions from the public and from the music of the profession.

Do you play live as well? How’s your live activity so far?
This is a single project, therefore the concert is not a real alternative for me, but I don’t want to do it. I would like to listen it, how I and the Fattyak sing the Ritu Paganorum together.

What should labels/zines/promoters know about your band? Why should they be interested in it?
Szolnokzene.hu always writes about it first time, when my new creation appears, because this blog is an open site, which are edited in Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok county. Moreover less online articles often are released about me. The Metal.hu made an interview with me recently and it was are long conversation, furthermore I was happy because of the interest of this medium.

What plans do you have for the near future as a band?
If everything will be OK, my new EP will apear in Autumn. The name of this creation is Rigor Mortis, but I don’t work alone. It will be a real cooperation. I have more mates: Csaba Pápai, the drummer of the Vertigo, Sulfurous, the bassist of the Nemezis and Péter Peredi, who is the owner of the Goblin workshop, in addition he was the story-teller in the former albums. The new disc follows not only the tradition of pagan, because the true essence of the old school black metal plays significant role in the new songs. I want to make such a creation, which provides audiovisual experience for the public of the Fattyú, moreover I work on the website of my music project. I will finish the fieldwork of two other albums soon. Well, I will not bore in the next year.

Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?
My songs are available on Youtube and on Bandcamp and you can buy them „in name your price way” way here. You can not buy the merchandise for the present, but I hope this situation changes in the future.
