Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
HYSTE'RIAH was formed by me in 1987. I handpicked youngster Klas Ideberg on guitar and former band mate T.C. Hagen on drums. Both T.C. and I had played guitar in our previous band so it was a complete change up. HYSTE'RIAH existed for only two years and T.C was out after first demo tape. In 2016 the two demo tapes "Attempt the life (1987)" and "Jeremiad of the living (1988)" were reissued on vinyl by "To The Death". In 2021 I started up HYSTE'RIAH again just for fun but now as a studio solo project only.

How would you describe your style? Which bands influenced your music?
Hardcore...with influences from all kind of music: Jazz, funk, metal, classic...you name it!

Why should a metalhead buy your demos/albums?
For no reason at all! There is more jazz, funk and hardcore in it than metal.

Do you play live as well? How's your live activity so far?
No, I'm an old fart...I'm just glad to be alive! I hardly move at all!

What should labels/zines/promoters know about your band? Why should they be interested in it?
Nothing! I am an uninteresting person.

What plans do you have for the near future as a band?
None at all, actually.
