Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
It started out as a band jamming out of high school, some people walked away, and the rest of us formed a death metal band called Eye of Horus. Even though it stopped being a thing for several years I kept writing for it anyway and that brings us to now and the reason it’s a solo project. Or was until the recent addition of the drummer Doug.
How would you describe your style? Which bands influenced your music?
My style steps back and forth over the line of folk riffs and melodic death metal riffs. Wintersun, Ensiferum and Amon Amarth are my primary influences but other bands such as Wardruna, Dimmu Borgir, Aether Realm creep in as well.
Why should a metalhead buy your demos/albums?
I put a lot of effort into crafting these songs well good riffs and I aim just to create more content of melodic death folk metal, if you want more stuff like that I got it right here.
What have you released so far and how were your releases received by the public/media?
So far only the one single is available to the public but it seems to be going over super well, in addition only 1 review of the full album has found its way to me and was extremely positive.
Do you play live as well? How's your live activity so far?
Currently no, as it is a solo project at the moment, but in the future there will be shows.
What should labels/zines/promoters know about your band? Why should they be interested in it?
I’m trying to blend distinct characteristic of Wintersun, Ensiferum and Amon Amarth along with spicy flavours of my own style, into one sound, to which I think it has been pretty successful so far.
What plans do you have for the near future as a band?
Finalize and lineup, and starting playing shows. Secondarily finish writing the next EP that is already mapped out.
Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?
Bandcamp, Youtube, Reverbnation, Soundcloud, Itunes, Spotify, google play, apple music.
