Review:
To my shame I've never heard of the Udmurt Republic before I "met" this one-man-band, but one can only learn throughout his life. Arcaneblaze presents us here its debut EP, a 4 tracks work that also come with 3 bonus tracks, two covers (Bathory's Total Destruction and Burzum's Lost Wisdom) and one which I guess is an older Arcaneblaze track. Composition-wise this is what you get if you mix Witchery and Hellripper on a Whiplash pattern, ultra-fast, thrashing Blackened Speed Metal that makes you at least bob your head if not more. Vicious, wicked vocals, fast and staggering guitar riffs, razor-sharp leads and solos, and thrashing rhythm section, this is what you get from Arcaneblaze, a totally '80's worshipping dirty Speed Metal for maniacs. The whole inhere clocks a bit over 20 minutes, so it's quite an enjoyable and entertaining journey even if you're not a fan of the genre.
