Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
We really didn't give a fuck about music until Uncle noticed there are lots of chicks, especially fat chicks screwing around in the rock and metal music scene, and given our constant need for more flesh and loose flabby skin we decided to kill a band that was sort of wasted anyway and take over their instruments.
I can't exactly recall when this happened but it was way back.
Anyway, we have 6 family fuckers toying around with the noise we make, Frank playing bass guitar, Wiktor took over the drumming some time ago after we whacked our previous drummer Stick Smolenski, Mimi and Roman handle the guitars being so intricate and precise with other instruments as well. Me (Fats) and Piggy do the vocals. I wrote the songs alone until we toasted Pat O'Reilly and Mimi volunteered to take over his guitar slot. Now Mimi also writes songs. I also recorded the first 2 EP's because everyone else was busy doing bad, bad things. Now we work as a unit, which makes us even more deadly.
How would you describe your style? Which bands influenced your music?
Murderous fucking torrent of total disregard to anything that anyone has and will ever hold sacred. Metal to the core. Back in the basement there is no music so I wouldn't know about other bands. The one we destroyed to steal their stuff was utter bullshit and shall remain unnamed.
Why should a metalhead buy your demos/albums?
They shouldn't. They can get that shit for free at Torn Flesh Records.
What have you released so far and how were your releases received by the public/media?
We have recorded 2 EPs during 2010, namely Bukowski Family and Dig Your Own Grave. We also have new material cooking and you can sample some of it at Reverbnation.com/bukowskifamily, the 3 tracks (Uncle's Tinder, Feces of Love, Flayed Skin Tapestry) out there are going to be included on the new release to be revealed at a later date. The Family has been featured on 3 compilations as well, Violent Journey Records - Demonstration of Penetration 3, Torn Flesh Records - It's All Your Fault & Perceptions of Decadence or, How to Philosophize with a Knife.

Do you play live as well? How's your live activity so far?
We will. And when that happens, it's gonna be a festival of blood, guts and death. No theatrics, real barbeque backwoods style!
What sould labels/zines/promoters know about your band? Why should they be interested in it?
Well, considering the following statement:
Brutal metal with a soupcon of death, dash of grindcore and just of hint of rot. Bukowski Family case history is marred with such atrocities as cannibalism, perverted human dismemberment, general unpleasantness and musical ruthless massacre.
Brace yourselves to see everything you deem precious torn apart and dragged out to the backyard to be burned in a stinking pile of waste. If it is holy to someone, it surely can be defiled.

I guess if a label/zine/promoter or any other motherfucker really wants to rattle some cages, then we are the right tool for that job. And if you dont like your neighbor, we can make them taste so good you will love them!
What plans do you have for the near future as a band?
To kick some ass, take names and then make some housecalls. You want your Death Metal presented without a smile and ruthlessly soaked in blood? Then expect to have a hell of a time with Bukowski Family. This is one nightmare that you can't be awaken from.
