Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
Ukrainian band «I Miss My Death» was formed in 2007 and at the moment released two albums (demo and full-length), one single and one DVD. We are well known in our country, mostly because of distinctive aristocratic image and romantic music vision. For this moment I Miss My Death are: Serge and Helen Krivovyaz (a couple of frontmen and leaders of the band, authors of the most of music and lyrics), Nick Grom (keyboarder with his own composition vision that brings special notes for our music), Roman Kovalenko and Sergey Novachenko (talanted guitarist and drummer with no things impossible to them) and Adrew Avramets (our new bass player with absolute pitch).

How would you describe your style? Which bands influenced your music?
Our music brings the feeling of understanding of humans in the world with it depth and diversity.  We try to show the atmosphere of decadence, which intertwined with eternal dark tunes.
Talking about the style, we develop much and our style is developing too. Our primary way is gothic doom but in some songs we bow more to gothic metal or death doom.
Of course, some bands had an impact on us. They are Draconian, Tristania, early Theatre of Tragedy, Estatic Fear, Lacrimas Profundere etc.

Why should a metalhead buy your demos/albums?
Our music is not something new in global. We play gothic death doom metal with classical vocal scheme – beauty and the beast.  Fans of Draconian, Tristania, early Theatre of Tragedy, Estatic Fear, Lacrimas Profundere etc. will enjoy our music. From the other side we have our own view. This view is full of dark romanticism and carries us to other expressions of our thoughts.
What have you released so far and how were your releases received by the public/media?
As we mentioned before, we’ve released two albums (“…At Her Funeral” and “In Memories”), one single and DVD “Вічні сльози жалю” that translates like “Eternal Tears of Sorrow ”. Our first material was self-released and spreads only among our Ukrainian fans with few exceptions. We released the last album “In Memories” on the “Metal Scrap Records” label and now it is spread all over the world. Our music is developing and fans feel it and welcome it. We receive a lot of reviews on our material. Of course it’s impossible to impress everyone, but most of them are positive and motivational.

Do you play live as well? How's your live activity so far?
We played nearly 100 concerts all over Ukraine. Our performances are usually bright and look like theatrical performances. We try to surprise our listeners with something new every time and make our performance brighter and deeper. For example, for the presentation of our last album I Miss My Death invited string section and back vocals, prepared an interesting duo, sewed new costumes, released branded merch and of course presented the new material.

What should labels/zines/promoters know about your band? Why should they be interested in it?
We try to create high-quality material, show it bright and interesting and don’t be scared of new areas. We are pedantic and always bring the matter before the end. And, of course, we are open for a dialogue.

What plans do you have for the near future as a band?
According to the situation in our country we haven’t got possibility to organize big promotional tour for our album. So now we are planning some spot visits. We are also working on new material preparing some surprises for our fans and planning great shows. What can we tell you exactly is that our creative peak is still far but we are getting closer to it every minute.

Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?
Considering the worldwide prevalence of “In Memories” you can listen to it almost everywhere. Our music presents on the Soundcloud, LastFm, Reverbnation, YouTube etc. You can download in from the iTunes Store or Amazon.
