Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
D.o.D was originally started in 2009 but trying to find musicians who are committed in a small town is very hard, however Lee & Phil did not give up and soon found Stu to play Bass, then in early 2011 Locker returned to the drum stool (he was the original drummer for D.o.D) between the 4 of us we have over 40 years of musical experience this includes Studio, Live and Promotional aspects. Lee & Phil have played in a few bands together but were never really happy until we created D.o.D, Stu & Locker are both young lads who are so passionate towards D.o.D it’s scary.

How would you describe your style? Which bands influenced your music?
We seek influence from many aspects; our style is Metal through and through. Some people have labelled us Death Metal others say Thrash Metal, we really don’t care as long as we play Metal. Our main source of influence comes from the likes of Deicide, Cannibal Corpse, Six Feet Under, Obituary, Death, Slayer, Possessed right through to Paradise Lost and beyond.

Why should a metalhead buy your demos/albums?
As any up and coming band will contest to its all about consistency, sound quality & tipping your cap to those who have come before. A Metalhead should buy our CD to say "I was one of the first to support this band” just like we all did back in the early 80’s when the Metal scene EXPLODED. Phil and I  are very proud that we have been a Metal fan since 1980 to present day, as for Stu I am convinced that guy was born in 1983 kept on ice and fed Metal albums and was finally released from his Ice Cage 1992 with all this Metal knowledge intact. As for Locker he is always fascinated by old school Metal bands that we keep feeding him.

What have you released so far and how were your releases received by the public/media?
With D.o.D we just have our Debut EP "Tree of Woe” out at the moment, reaction: to be honest it’s been mixed some of our friends were so shocked when our EP turned up on iTunes & Amazon and then all the other Digital Download partners came online and now it’s available on a Global scale to anyone with internet access. The big test was with our Label (Satanica Productions) they are in New Zealand and we were all suffering anxiety attacks waiting for the official CD release date, it came and we got an email from the Label saying that we had sales from Day one……how fucking cool is that.

Do you play live as well? How's your live activity so far?
That’s the big question at present, we had some real difficult times a few years back getting Gigs with other Metal bands, then you have to factor in the fact that most places in the UK do not pay the bands so we have all decided we will wait until its right for Death on Demand. Friends who like the band come to our Practice Sessions and the feedback has been excellent so far. We are working on the set list ready to start the recording of the album so doing Gigs is not a priority.

What should labels/zines/promoters know about your band? Why should they be interested in it?
The usual stuff we are a hard working fully committed to the Metal world and we are networking animals, if someone does a good turn for us we will do a good turn for them. Gort from The Pain Fucktory, Craig from Dovetail Strings & Xan from Satanica Productions can confirm these facts. We have also secured a Guitar String endorsement are currently number 5 in the Reverbnation Metal charts for Hampshire & number 82 in the Reverbnation Metal charts for the UK. We will work as hard for Labels, Zines & Promoters as they will for us.

What plans do you have for the near future as a band?
Next for us is the album this is taking up most of our time, we are planning a few Music Vids and later this year we will be looking to get some half decent Gigs in and around the London area.

Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?
