Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.

Embers Of Revenge brought to life in the 7th of July 2011 by Med zougari (lead Vocals) and Zied Chaabani (Rhythm Guitar) in Nabeul Tunsia (north Africa). First the band started under the name of « Elysian » and recorded some demos which they received a great feedback, And then after recruiting a live members Nizar Khsib ( lead guitars) ,Skander Essid (Keyboards) Ahmed Zouitine (Bass) they started to play some local gigs covering some Power and Heavy Metal bands like Manowar,Iced Earth,Sonata Arctica… The demos received such a great critics and as a result of that,the band started thinking about a professional career and for that they changed the name To "Embers Of Revenge” due finding many bands by the name of "ELYSIAN” and get to work with their ex manager Salma Ben Rached, in April 18th the band inked a distribution deal with the Australian label "Bluefreya media” and released their first single "Gates Of destiny” in 29/5/2012, after premiering it in a live show at the number one Tunisian venue "Le Plug”, and as a result of the feedback about the single ;"Gates of Destiny above all shows to me a band that has potential, talent and the ability to compose interesting songs.” –Behind the veil Greek Webzine; the band started to work their second single "Imagination” which was distributed through Blufreya Media in 21/8/2012 and received also such a good feedback. After that the band settled a final line up after the departure of Zied Chaabani (Rhythm Guitarist) and Ahmed Zouitine (bass) which consists of:

How would you describe your style? Which bands influenced your music?

Our style is Power/progressive metal as many defined it but in general we are playing what comes in pur mind from different metal styles in fact the we are mixing genres but our basis is Melodic. Well we have many different influences: Firewind, Rhapsody Of Fire, Killswitch engage, Mnemic, Heavenly, Nevermore, Dream theater and many more…

Why should a metalhead buy your demos/albums?

In fact for the moment we released just two singles both tastes differently and actually its style is so Mysterious and full of energy beauty and darkness also speaks everyones mind and I think that what metalheads search something new.. But that’s not the final result we are doing our best to work our skills to give ‘em the best also working on a surptising strong debut full length. So show us your support metalheads

What have you released so far and how were your releases received by the public/media?

Well we released two digital singles both in 2012 "Gates of destiny” then "Imagination” and it received a great feedback that’s why we still want to do more, and it received some good feedback from such respected metal e-zines like Metal Temple and battlehelm, also from some musicians and fans.

Do you play live as well? How's your live activity so far?

Yep we played some gigs but it’s locally limited because of some financial issues for the moment, and our best ones are two gigs in the Number one venue here in Tunsia "le Plug”.

What should labels/zines/promoters know about your band? Why should they be interested in it?

We are a hard working band trying to create something new in the metal scene young and working hard ourselves to release some materials in a country where metal culture is down… and they should be interested of the band cuz we are about sure that it will make a difference and give birth to something innovative.

What plans do you have for the near future as a band?

Our plans is to start tracking our debut album as soon as we get the needed fund to create such an epic product, then get to light to some international fests I hope.
