Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
We started this band in 2014.  At the time there were four members, Jake, Cliff, myself Joe, and Breadsticks on Bass.  As of 2016, we are now a 3 piece outfit consisting of Jake, Cliff, and I.

How would you describe your style? Which bands influenced your music?
Our music could be described as a melancholic response of the state in which one’s personal experience is perceived in our modern world.

Why should a metalhead buy your demos/albums?
Because it’s music.  Why not?

What have you released so far and how were your releases received by the public/media?
In 2016 we released our debut EP, “Broken Sun” which we recorded with Alex Garcia Rivera from Boston based hardcore outfit, American Nightmare.  Our following record, “Failure To Thrive” was recorded with him as well and was released in 2019.  In 2019, we toured in support of “Failure To Thrive”.
Our most recent release, Acceptance/Isolation Was recorded at New Alliance in Boston, MA with Alec Rodriguez from Boston based metal band, Lesser Glow.  This album will be released digitally and on cassette via Suspended Soul Tapes and Records.  Expect Vinyl in the near future.

Do you play live as well? How's your live activity so far?
Yes we play live when we can.  The past year has been tricky since I live in Washington DC and our drummer, Cliff, as well as our guitarist, Jake both live in Boston.  We were fortunate to play a handful of shows before the COVID-19 global crisis.  We expect to try and make something work in 2020 by doing some sort of Livestream or video stream of some kind to support our new album.

What should labels/zines/promoters know about your band? Why should they be interested in it?
We have meaning.  We don’t just try to fit the mold of any one particular genre.  We each have our own bucket list of eclectic influences, as well as individual experiences that define our creative process.  We wright music that sounds pleasing to our ears isn’t he hopes that people can delve into the deeper meaning of our art.  We are very proud to have Dina Makarita owner of Neonderthal Designs on board with the visual elements and artwork for this upcoming album.

What plans do you have for the near future as a band?
As far as plans go, 2020 is looking quite bleak. However, when all is safe and if life ever can return back to normal we hope to tour in support of this album.  As far as writing goes, we will be forced to write remotely for the time being due to regional differences, as well as the current situation of the world.
